Episode 1: The Beginning or the End ?
It was a quiet night.
The roads were nearly empty, lit only by flickering streetlights and the soft glow of
the moon.
Two cars drove on opposite lanes—unaware of each other, unaware of fate.
She was a doctor.
He was a celebrity.
They didn't know each other.
Not yet.
But destiny had its own plan.
Suddenly—
A loud crash.
Metal twisting. Glass shattering.
Screams swallowed by silence.
Their cars collided.
The world went black.
---
[Hospital – Emergency Room]
Flashing lights.
Sirens.
Doctors rushing.
Both were rushed into surgery.
Unconscious. Unrecognizable. Broken.
To the audience, it felt like an ending.
But this… was only the beginning.
Both slipped into a deep coma.
And in that stillness, the real story began.
Her World..
Her name was Na-rae Kim.
She had always dreamed of becoming a doctor.
When she was a child, her father had fallen seriously ill.
They were too poor to afford treatment. No doctor helped. No one came forward.
She watched her father die helplessly.
That night, a decision was made in her heart.
She would grow up and save others—no matter what.
She studied hard, struggled through poverty, and became a brilliant doctor.
Quiet, focused, and kind-hearted.
But a storm was coming.
---
His World
His name was Sang-woo Kim.
From a young age, he was always told, "You're born to shine."
His family was rich. Supportive.
He was surrounded by love, attention, and opportunities.
He trained in acting, worked hard, and rose quickly.
Today, he was one of the most famous actors in the country.
The second highest-paid star in the industry.
But the higher you rise… the more enemies you make.
One day, a patient came to Na-rae.
A woman in her early 40s, her face pale and eyes filled with worry.she cried and na rae
see the women and asked her .what happened?? Anything wrong …
"Doctor," she said in a trembling voice, "please help me… My daughter… she's only 17.
She's pregnant. A boy used her and left her."
Na-rae froze.
"I can't help with something illegal," she said hesitantly.
"This could risk my license. Please—take her somewhere else."
But the woman stared at her.
"If it were your daughter… what would you do?"
Those words hit hard.
Na-rae didn't answer.
Later that night, troubled and unsure, she told everything to her best friend Min-ji, a
nurse.
Min-ji was shocked.
"This sounds dangerous,"
"I know," Na -rae said
That scary Night
🌑
The hospital was quiet.
Na-rae called the woman.
"Bring your daughter. I'll help," she said softly.
They arrived secretly.
The girl was just 17—six months pregnant.
Too young. Too weak.
The girl was in pain, bleeding heavily.
Na-rae rushed her into surgery.
"Her blood pressure's dropping!" Min-ji screamed.
Na-rae worked fast.
But a vein wasn't closed in time.
Too much blood was lost.
The baby was too small to survive.
And the girl…
She took her last breath on the table.
Outside, her mother prayed with trembling hands.
When she was called in and saw her daughter's lifeless body—she collapsed in grief.
"You killed her!" you don't deserve to be a doctor the woman cried.
"I trusted you. I begged you. You did this!"
Those words shattered Na-rae.
She tried to speak, but her voice broke.
Tears rolled down her face.
That night haunted her dreams.
Sang-woo was away on a film shoot.
The location was far, and the schedule was tight.
Though he was famous, he had many enemies—jealous co-stars and bitter rivals.
One evening, a group of actors gathered at a private lounge, drinking and laughing.
"Highest-paid actor? What's so special about him?" one of them sneered, slurring
slightly.
The others laughed awkwardly.
"Don't take him seriously," someone whispered. "He's just drunk."
But one of them—a well-known troublemaker—leaned forward and said coldly,
"No one actually likes him. Maybe it's time someone did something about it..."
That's when the villain entered the conversation.
He was a talented actor too, but blinded by greed.
He said, "If we don't do something now, we'll never get our chance.
Are we just going to stay silent forever?"
The others looked around.
For the first time, they realized they weren't alone in their envy.
They were all thinking the same thing.
Their smiles faded.
The night grew quiet.
And in that silence… dark thoughts took root.
It was a beautiful morning...
The sky was clear. The city moved with quiet rhythm.
It was the hero Sang-woo's day off. He had gone to a local store to pick up something
small.
His manager had stepped inside earlier to grab a few things, but he was taking too long.
Sang-woo waited near the entrance, checking his watch. After a few minutes, he
sighed.
Sang-woo (muttering):
"What's taking him so long?"
He decided to go and check.
[Cut to: Na-rae – outside a tea shop nearby]
Meanwhile, Na-rae had a headache. She had taken a short break from her hospital
shift.
She wanted a hot cup of tea to ease the pain. She stepped out with the cup in her hand.
Just then, the sky darkened suddenly.
The wind picked up.
And within moments—rain.
Heavy, unexpected rain poured down over the street.
Both Na-rae and Sang-woo stepped quickly to cross the road—coming from opposite
sides.
They both ran.
Side by side now.
Both of them halfway across the street.
And suddenly—
Their eyes met.
Time stopped.
The world went silent.
Their gazes locked, and a strange sound echoed in their heads—a faint, faraway ringing.
Both of them flinched, grabbing their temples.
Na-rae (whispering):
"What... is this?"
Her balance shifted. She felt dizzy, like the ground below her was moving.
Sang-woo winced, placing a hand on his forehead.
Sang-woo:
"Why does it feel like... I've seen her before?"
The rain kept falling.
But they stood frozen, both breathing heavily, both shaken.
The strange feeling passed after a few seconds. Na-rae blinked and steadied herself.
Sang-woo looked at her one last time… confused, but curious.
They both slowly turned and continued walking in opposite directions—still wondering:
"That was so strange… what just happened all of a sudden?"
"What just happened?"
