It's almost 3pm and Lola has been buried in work for hours now. She had no good impression of this Gad Gadon, the CEO, cause why would he leave this much work for her? But another thing she is concerned with his the kind of trust he has in her, even though they've never met. Most of the files she was asked to assess and report on should be given to her after her competence has been confirmed, and should not be given to a newly hired staff member.
The alarm sound from her phone pulls her away from her thoughts. It was closing hour, and she had to leave immediately to pick up her daughter from school. She was packing her stuff and getting ready to leave when Jimi walked in.
"Hope you are not planning on leaving yet, miss Lola?" Jimi asked
"Yes, sir, should I not be?" She asked, raising her brow
"The thing is, Miss Lola, " Jimi started a little bit hesitantly, scratching his head, " We really need you to work a little overtime, as you can see our CEO is not around and we are really lagging behind."
"Sir, I'm sorry-
"Don',t get it wrong, of course we will pay yo, for your extra time," Jimi caught in.
"What I'm trying to turnedis I have a daughter, and I should be picking her up from school now."
" Oh, that's not a problem," Jimi replisighedasuCany. "Just give me the school address, and o,ne o.f the company drivers will pick her up and have her brought herhas"
"Really?" Lola asked surprised

'Nanny? They willcalledall that for? But why' she asked hersel "I will be glad sh,e replied, " why will she reject the offer? It's wha,t she needed right now, tMisst have to worry about her d,aughterexplainedshe works.
"I'm happy you accept, so send me the details of the school, and your daughter will be here ,soon".

Jimi nods, gives her a smile before turning and walking out of the office.
Lola did as instructed, sending the necessary detai school to Jimi's office, including her picture. About 30 minutes ,later, the office door opened again, and the cute little girl came running to her mother's a arms. The mother and daughter embraced each other befoat re Mira went on to explain how some men in suits came to her school, and talked to her teachers for a long time before bringing her here in a big black jeep. Lola listens to her daughter, amused by her details explanation.
A knock came on the door, before a slim white skin lady in her early twenties walked in. Lola opened her mouth to ask who she was, but before she could, the lady introduced herself.
"Good afternoon, my name is Rhea, and I'm Jimi's personal assistant. He asked me to bring this food to you and your daughter." Rhea dropped the box of food on the desk and left before Lola could ask any questions. She still finds all this a little bit too much, but she wasn't sure if this was just normal things done for employers in the company, or if she was just an exception. She was thinking about this, not noticing Mira, who was already munching on the food.
"Mira," she called when noticed, and the little girl looked up at her mother, guilty.

The next morning was like the previous morning, walking up from the alarm and preparing Mira for school while she prepared for work. Her phone rang while she was cooking, and surprisingly, it was Jimi Gandon.
"Hello, sir," she said, picking up the call
"Good morning, Miss Lola, have you seen the nanny the company sent you?" Came Jimi's voice over the phone.
"No"
"He should be there soon."
"He?"
"He is a male nanny, he is good at what he does," replied Jimi
"If you say so, sir, " Lola replied. A little bit skeptical.
"Trust me, and don't be late for work," Jimi said before hanging up the call.
Immediately, the doorbell rang, and she walked out of the kitchen to open the door. Standing at the other side of the door is a strikingly handsome, tall man with broad shoulders. He has blonde hair, similar to Jimi's, but a little damp, as if he just walked out of the shower.
"Good morning, ma'am. My name is Leon, and I'm the nanny sent by Gadon Steel Company."
