Chapter 2 - First Shiver

After a good night's sleep, Divya woke up in a cheerful mood and went to a vocational school. She enrolled in event decoration, cooking and pastry, then sewing. After several months of study, Divya proudly graduated, ranking first in her class. Filled with joy and satisfaction, she began searching for a job.

Soon after, Ritshy, a close friend, invited her out. She gladly accepted, and they decided to go watch a movie together. Ritshy bought popcorn, and they took their seats in the cinema. Tired, Divya fell asleep unknowingly on Ritshy's shoulder. Even when the movie ended, he didn't wake her up.

When she woke up, she noticed they were the only ones left in the cinema.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" she asked, surprised.

"I didn't want to disturb a goddess during her nap," Ritshy replied with a gentle smile.

Divya blushed.

"I'm a bit tired... Sorry I couldn't watch the movie till the end."

"Don't worry, your health is much more important. No need to apologize."

They took a taxi to go home. Once they arrived, each thought of the other with a small smile on their lips.

The next morning, Divya received a call: she had been accepted into a company. On her way to her first day, she crossed paths with Ritshy, who offered to accompany her. During the ride, they chatted, laughed, and exchanged knowing glances. Upon arrival, Ritshy dropped her off, and she thanked him warmly.

On her way back, Divya noticed it was raining. She had no umbrella, no raincoat, and no taxi in sight. Resigned, she decided to walk home. On the way, she was surprised to see Ritshy coming toward her, holding an umbrella. He joined her and shared his umbrella.

Unable to find a taxi to go home, Divya suggested he stay the night at her place.

After a warm bath, Divya, in her nightgown, was surprised to see Ritshy in a towel, his abs clearly visible.

"Has Miss Divya finished admiring, or would she like to see something... more interesting?" he teased.

"What an awkward situation... If only I could disappear," she murmured, blushing.

Embarrassed, she tried to walk away quickly but twisted her ankle. Ritshy rushed over, lifted her up, and gently placed her on a table to apply ointment.

"Thank you for everything, Ritshy. Actually, I wanted to ask... Why are you so kind to me?"

"Because I love you, Divya. I want to protect you. You've been precious to me since you entered my life, everything changed, you're my light."

Taken aback, Divya tried to deflect the situation, but stumbled again. Ritshy caught her, and their lips brushed in an unexpected kiss.

She gently pushed him away, confused.

"It was an accident... Don't take it seriously. Let's just say it was like... a mosquito bite."

"Tell me you don't love me. That you don't want me."

"That's not what I meant..."

"Then... will you be my girlfriend?"

After a moment of silence and a lot of embarrassment, Divya replied:

"Yes."

Ritshy kissed her tenderly. His hands caressed her legs, her thighs, and his lips gently slid over her neck. Divya, flustered and moved, let herself be carried away by the moment of passion. Ritshy lifted her in his arms and gently placed her on the bed. This was how Divya experienced her first time, wrapped in love and tenderness.

The next morning, after that unforgettable night, she opened her eyes to find Ritshy bringing her breakfast in bed.

"Is my queen satisfied with last night?" he teased her.

Blushing like a tomato, Divya jumped up quickly.

"What an annoying boy..." she said, running to the shower.

They then got ready together to go to work.

On the way, a soft silence enveloped them, between shy glances and involuntary smiles. The memory of the previous night lingered in the air, suspended between their simple gestures.

In the taxi, Ritshy gently took Divya's hand.

"Do you regret it?" he asked softly, almost worried.

She turned her head toward him, her cheeks slightly flushed, and answered in a whisper:

"No... But I think we should take it slow."

"Then let's go slowly, but together, okay?"

Divya nodded with a small smile. For the first time, she felt light... and a bit scared. But most of all, she was happy.
