The shadows twisted into monstrous forms, lunging at the group.
Gabriel swung his staff, releasing bursts of holy spells. "Tailon, you fool! Do you even know what you've done?"
Tailon chuckled. "Oh, I know exactly what I've done. You think you can stop Seth? You don't even understand what he is, and you don't know what he can do, I've seen his powers first hand and I must admit there is no one in the world that can stop him."
As they were arguing with tailon – The statue moved, as soon as tailon realized it, was about to tell the others… He saw the statue right in his face
"He's fast" tailon said with his eyes wide open in terror, He was punched straight right in his guts with an intense breeze like a tornado coming out from his back. He coughed up blood and teleported to the door of the temple and fell unconscious.
As jasper was about to turn at rey, he saw the statue, but his body couldn't react, this time his hand was heading straight for his face, Before the statue fist made contact with his face Gabriel casted an advanced hardening spell on his face. After taking the hit his body left the ground and was in the air, then the statue jumped up above him and landed another hit on jasper but this time it was his stomach, Jasper took the second hit and fell down with an incredible high speed, hitting the ground, and fell unconscious.
Elsa shouted "Gabriel get tailon and jasper together and heal both at once.
"It's gonna take time" Gabriel said
"Just do it" Elsa replied, as she ran to rey and drew her twin dagger.
"You ready rey?"
"I'm always ready" Rey replied as he drew his sword.
They ran straight at the statue, the moment the statue looked down he saw rey swinging his sword at him. And then HE SMILED. Rey's face had an expression of fear as his sword came in contact with the body of the statue and shattered like glass,
The statue picked up rey from the ground, punched his face, threw him in the air and then he jumped.
The air was painted with the colour red as both him and the statue rose to the air.
The second they were in the air, it was as if Time stop, Rey couldn't move but he felt his body moving at different directions at once as the statue was offloading punches in his body at midair.
At the moment he couldn't see anything, nor hear anything, nor take control of the body, the only thing he could do at the moment was feel the agonising pain of his body being punched at every angle. The last punch sent Rey flying in the air and crashing at a wall. Rey tried to get up, but his body did not listen to him, his body was too weak, his vision was red due to the blood coming out from his eyes and his nose and mouth.
Elsa shouted "Reeeeyyyyy!" and was running towards him and as she was about to hold rey's hand, she saw the statue and was given an upper cut right at her chin that sent her flying and hitting Gabriel who was healing tailon and jasper.
As the blood of Elsa splashed at Rey's face, he snapped.
His hair turned black and slightly lifted up with black flames burning the edges, his eyes turned red, and a pure purple flame laced with golden flickers surrounded his body and a dark crest mark on his forehead. But the one thing that was truly amazing was the yellow crown on head.
He stood, smiled and teleported to the statue without it realizing what happened, The whole temple turned black and white and a clock appeared at the back of the statue ticking, as soon as the clock stopped, everywhere went silent, Rey punched the statue, although his fist did not touch the statue, it stopped as it was about to, But the sheer force of it was strong enough to shattered the statue and turned it to dust.
Rey grabbed the Dreambinder, and the moment he touched it, a shockwave of light burst from his body, sending the shadows recoiling, and his body went back to normal.
Tailon's smirk faltered. "Tch. So that's how it is."
Elsa lunged at him, but Tailon vanished into smoke. "See you soon," his voice echoed.
Rey walked up to elsa and said "Are you ok", I'm fine Gabriel healed us "Elsa replied"
The shadows dissipated, but the damage was done. The temple was collapsing.
"Move!" Rey shouted.
They barely made it out before the entrance crumbled behind them.
Outside, Rey gripped the Dreambinder. "Tailon betrayed us… but now we have what we need."
Elsa looked at him. "Then let's end this."
