Lavender and Ron stand outside the Room of Requirement, their daughters standing between them all wearing dresses in different shades of purple, each one's red-hair done up in a different way, and their blue eyes shining with curiousity. "Come on girls." Ron says. "Let's see what Hermione has planned for you."
Ron pushes the door open, and they step inside and immediately Ron feels that the floor is soft and pliable, yet firm enough to walk on. He wonders why as he spots Harry off to one side with his sons Aaron and William, both of the boys are copies of Harry except they have Hermione's eyes, they are playing with some large blocks.
"Aaron!" Scarlett, their oldest, her hair in a braided crown, yells then starts to run towards them only to fall on the floor.
Scarlett's sisters; Sienna, distinctive with her hair in a french braid; and Sorrelle, her hair in a loose ponytail, help her up. "K?" Sienna asks.
Scarlett giggles as she takes their hands and they all head to the boys. "That explains the floor." Ron says as he watches them head off.
"Took me a couple tries to get it right." Hermione says.
Ron turns and sees Hermione with Clover, the youngest Potter could easily be confused as a Weasley with her red-hair, except it resembles Hermione's nearly untamable locks, she wears a green dress that matches her namesake flower. The two of them sit at a table having what looks like a tea party. "Where did you get the idea for all of this?" Lavender asks as she steps up beside Ron.
"Rose and Iris helped me with ideas." Hermione answers.
"Where are they?" Ron asks.
"With Shannon and her friends, they're going to have a sleepover." Hermione answers.
"That sounds fun." Lavender says as she looks around and sees what looks like a miniature Hogwarts made of balloons. "What is that?" She points at the miniature castle.
"It's a muggle invention, it's called a bouncy castle, the floor has an elasticity to it that allows you to jump around and land with minimal injury." Hermione explains. "The floor of the room is based off the idea, except I added a little rigidity to make it a little easier to walk on."
Lavender nods, not fully understanding but accepting that Hermione understood the concept. She continues to look around the room, seeing a section that had a bunch of metal pots and pans, then being more than a little confused by several large empty cardboard boxes.
Lavender is just about to ask about the boxes when Amanda walks in followed by Scorpius and Cassiopeia, both twins inherited their father's platinum blonde hair and have blue / gray eyes. Cassiopeia is wearing a black dress with her namesake constellation on it, while Scorpius is wearing slacks and a shirt. Scorpius heads over to the group of children with Harry and Draco follows while Cassiopeia grabs Amanda's hand.
"What's wrong Cassie?" Amanda asks, using her preferred nickname for her daughter. Cassie points over to Clover. "Yes, I'm heading over there." Cassie pulls on her hand gently. "You want to go with me?" Cassie nods in response.
Amanda and Cassie walk over to Hermione. It's only once they get there that Cassie lets go of Amanda and stands beside Clover. "Hi Cassie." Clover says happily, Cassie smiles in response then points to the bouncy castle.
Clover nods as she gets up and they head to it.
"I love this setup." Amanda says.
Hermione nods. "Thanks."
About that time Neville enters with Hannah beside him. Behind them their children follow; Angus with his short dirty blonde hair, with brown eyes he is wearing a jumper and pants. Alison, her dirty blonde hair in pigtails, with blue eyes, wearing a brown dress with live flowers on it.
"Will!" Alison shouts then looks up at Neville.
"Go ahead and play, both of you." Neville says.
"Ali?" Angus says as he holds out his hand. Alison takes his hand and they walk over to the group around Harry and start playing with the others.
#####
"Cake!" Hermione yells, getting everyone's attention. Behind her sits a large round table and chairs all set at a height that the toddlers can easily use.
The toddlers all come running and take a place at the table. "Where cake?" Clover asks.
"Here." Winky says and a large round cake appears on the table.
"Thank you, Winky." Hermione says.
"It is my pleasure." Winky says then vanishes.
"Hermione, I think you messed up." Ron says, "there's only one cake."
Hermione pulls out her wand. "Are we not magical?" She asks.
"Yeah, so?" Ron asks.
Hermione sighs as she focuses on a spell in her head and silently casts it while saying: "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-boo!" A silver sparkle shoots from her wand and the large cake turns into a bunch of small cakes.
A plate appears in front of each child and the small cakes each get up and walk onto a plate As the cakes settle themselves down on the plates a candle appears on each one of them. Once all the cakes are settled the candles ignite.
As one the group sings to the toddlers who then all try to blow out their candles, but mostly the candles put themselves out. After that a few of the toddlers try and eat the cake with a fork, but most of them just grab the cake with their hands.
"Play?" Clover asks.
Hermione looks and sees that Clover managed to not get any cake on herself. "Go ahead."
"So," Ron asks once all the kids are clean and playing. "Where did you find that spell?"
"It's near the back of our transfiguration book." Hermione answers.
*I hadn't made it that far." Ron says.
"You never were one to read ahead." Hermione says.
"I've been trying really hard since Lav and I got married." Ron says. "At least one of us needs to have a decent career, the money her dad left won't last forever."
"If you want help, I'll help you, both of you if necessary." Hermione says.
"What about the kids?" Ron asks.
"I'll watch them." Harry says. "For now at least."
#####
An hour or so later the parents all tuck the toddlers into their cribs as the sugar rush wears off. "I think they had fun." Harry says once he and Hermione leave the nursery.
Hermione nods. "It sure seems that way." She says, seemingly distracted.
"Everything okay?" Harry asks.
"This is going to sound silly, but I'm worried about Rose and Iris." Hermione answers.
"That's not silly at all." Harry says. "It's always been Shannon sleeping over here before this, so we could just check in on them anytime we wanted."
"I feel like I should go check on them." Hermione admits.
"You know Shannon would contact us if anything happens, and both Dobby and Winky would answer her if she called " Harry says.
Hermione nods. "And if I went and checked on them Shannon would think we don't trust her."
"Definitely don't want that." Harry says.
"Unless…" Hermione ponders.
"What are you thinking?' Harry asks.
"Is there was a way to check on them without them knowing?" Hermione asks.
"We could use the map." Harry suggests."That would tell us if they were in the room they're supposed to be."
"Yeah, that would work." Hermione says.
Harry digs the map out and activates it. "See, right where they're supposed to be."
Hermione looks at the map. "Shannon, Gabrielle, Lotte and Eliza too. All accounted for, and no names that don't belong.*
"Feel better?" Harry asks as he deactivates the map.
Hermione nods. "Yeah, let's head to bed while we can.'

Harry and Hermione have the triplets ready to go. "Meet you in the common room." Hermione says. "I'm going to go let the girls know we're heading down to breakfast."
Harry nods as Hermione heads out of their room and up the girls steps to the door for the first-years where she knocks. Gabrielle opens the door. "Hermione, is everything okay?"
Hermione nods. "I just wanted to tell you we were heading down to breakfast so you didn't go looking for us."
Gabrielle nods. "I appreciate it, I'll pass it along when the others wake up."
#####
Harry and Hermione are eating, triplets already fed when Ron and Lavender come into the Great Hall with their girls. "Hey, I wanted to thank you again for yesterday." Ron says. "I never would have come up with anything like that."
"It was our pleasure." Hermione says.
"Yeah, it was nice watching all the kids have fun." Harry says.
"Hopefully we can keep doing stuff like that after Hogwarts." Ron says.
"We'll figure something out." Harry says.
"I hope so." Ron says.
"We will." Hermione says. "They're all going to go to Hogwarts at the same time, so it would be best if they were friends beforehand."
"Why do you say that?" Ron asks.
"What are the odds that they'll all be sorted into the same house?" Hermione asks.
"I don't know how to do odds, that was Fred and George's thing." Fred admits.
"Let's just say it's highly unlikely." Hermione says.
"Okay, so what's the big deal?" Ron asks.
"Think about just how few friendships there are that cross houses." Harry says.
"I guess you do have a point." Ron says. "I knew Luna before school, I only really know Draco and Hannah because they're married to Gryffindors."
"Exactly!" Hermione says. "I'm hoping that they'll stay friends with their old friends while making new friends in their houses. Maybe they can get the houses to work together for something other than a life or death fight."
"I like that idea.* Lavender says. "So let us know how we can help."
"For the rest of the year just keep doing what we have, we'll figure out the rest later." Hermione says.
#####
A couple of hours later, Hermione is helping Ron and Lavender with some homework while Harry watches the two sets of triplets play. .
Lavender sees them first and immediately nudges Hermione. "Look!*
Hermione turns and looks, a huge grin fills her face as she gets up and walks over to Iris and Rose "We'll look at you two." She says. "Where did the dresses come from?"
"They were ours." Eliza says from the top of the stairs, Lotte standing beside her. "They had been in the stuff our Dad had of ours."
"When we saw them we thought these two might want them." Lotte says.
"You didn't have to do that." Hermione says.
"We know, but they didn't fit us, and with just a little magic they fit Iris and Rose." Eliza says.
"Can we keep them Mum?" Iris asks.
"That's up to Eliza and Lotte." Hermione answers.
Iris and Rose look up to the older girls. "If they want them they can have them." Eliza says, Lotte nods in agreement.
Hermione looks at Iris and Rose. "And both of you willingly want the dresses?"
They both nod. "They're cute." Rose says.
"And it's fun to able to dress alike, if we want to." Iris says.
"Then I have no objections." Hermione says. "Now, I wonder if you two would like to find Colin and get a picture taken for Grammy and Poppy."
"Sure!" Iris and Rose say in unison before running off to find Colin.
"I hope they weren't too much trouble." Hermione says.
"It was fun." Lotte says. "We wouldn't be against doing it again."
"Really?' Hermione asks.
"Yeah, we had a lot of fun." Eliza says.
"We lost track of time, hence not coming down until now." Lotte says.
Hermione nods. "I'll talk with them and see if they'd like to do it again then."
