Tonks stands by the window as the last rays of the sun hit the vial in her hand. She walks over to a cage, where Remus sits bare-chested locked inside. "Drink." She gives him the vial. Remus drinks the potion down and soon his transformation starts.
Tonks watches from outside the cage, as soon his transformation is done she speaks. "Come turn your back to me." Werewolf Remus does as he's ordered. Tonks reaches into a nearby satchel and pulls out a silver collar fastening it around Remus' neck.
=== December 25, 1996 ===
"Merry Christmas!" Malachi shouts as he enters the cabin Remus and Tonks share.
"Not so loud." Tonks says, as she points to Remus rubbing his head. "Last night was the full moon."
"That's part of the reason I'm here." Malachi says. "Since Remus is the one werewolf on our side I made him something." He holds up a bag that Tonks had not realized he was holding.
From the bag Malachi pulls out a silver collar etched with golden runes. "Once he's transformed, put this collar on him, it should allow him to talk."
Tonks takes the collar. "Thank you."
"I'm not done yet." Malachi says as he pulls a box out of the bag and opens the box. Inside is a pair of gloves with silver claws. "The gloves are impervious, and will protect him from the silver claws, which are meant to kill other werewolves."
"That will give him an edge on the other werewolves." Tonks says.
"That was the idea." Malachi says.
The door opens up and Magnus runs in. "Dada, Dada!" He runs up to Malachi who puts down the weaponry too grab his son.
"How'd you get in here?" Malachi asks.
"I let him in." Cheshire answers.
"Hey, haven't seen you since Halloween." Malachi says.
"I finished the job, and good thing I did." Cheshire says.
"Oh?" Malachi asks.
"I'm pregnant." Cheshire answers.
"You too?" Tonks says, causing Malachi and Cheshire to look at her as she blushes. "I said that outloud, didn't I?'
=== Present ===
"How's the collar feel?" Tonks asks as she opens the cage.
"Strange." Remus answers, his voice guttural as it comes from the collar.
A wolf howls and Tonks looks at Remus. "Is that?"
"Yes, he's summoning them." Remus replies walking out of the cage.
"Then it's happening." Tonks says as she pulls out the gloves and puts them on Remus, the gloves form to his clawed hands, leaving them almost imperceptible. "You go after them."
"You?" Remus asks as the silver claws retract into the gloves, vanishing as they do.
"I'll go to the Ministry, see if I can help." Tonks answers.
Remus carefully places his clawed hand on her belly, which is just barely showing her pregnancy. "Protect."
"Don't worry, I'll keep our child safe." Tonks says.
Remus nods and retracts the silver claws before running off in the direction of the howls.

Snape walks into the Slytherin common room and comes up to Draco. "Where is your wife, Mister Malfoy?" He asks.
"Most likely in the Gryffindor common room with her cousin." Draco replies.
"Get her and meet me in my office." Snape orders.
"Yes, sir." Draco says as he gets up and goes through his and Amanda's room into the Gryffindor common room.
"Draco?" Amanda asks.
"Professor Snape has summoned us." Draco says.
Draco and Amanda walk into Snape's office. "We're here, sir." Draco says.
"What took you so long?" Snape growls as he gets up and walks out of the room. "We're running behind." Draco and Amanda look at each other and follow him.
"Sorry, sir." Amanda says. "If I just suddenly got up they'd wonder what was going on."
Snape sighs. "Yes, I suppose it wouldn't do any good to have them catch on now."
"No, it would not." Draco says as they walk the hallway where the Room of Requirement appears. Standing in the hallway is a group of students all dressed in Death Eater robes and masks.
"Mister Malfoy, the room with the cabinet." Snape instructs.
Draco makes the room appear. "Follow me to the cabinet." He leads them to the cabinet.
"Very good." Snape says. "Restrain them."
"Incarcerous!" One of the student Death Eaters shouts tying up Draco while the others grab Amanda.
"Get your hands off me!" Amanda yells as she struggles to get away from the students.
One of the Death Eaters speaks. "You can cooperate," a female voice says from behind the mask, "or," she pulls out a dagger, "I can start removing pieces from your husband."
"Pansy, what's gotten into you?" Draco asks.
The knife wielding Death Eater slices Draco's face before pulling off her mask, revealing that she is indeed Pansy Parkinson. "You should have killed her and yourself." She says. "Instead you pollute your bloodline with this mudblood."
"It wasn't like I had a choice." Draco says.
"There's always a choice." Pansy says then looks at the others. While they were talking someone conjured an altar and tied Amanda to it spread eagle. "I'll prepare her for the ritual, the rest of you go serve our lord."
The rest of the teenage Death Eaters go through the cabinet. "I'll go secure the rest of Slytherin in the common room." Snape says before he goes.
Pansy walks over to Amanda. "Don't move,I don't want to knick something important." Pansy says she carefully cuts Amanda's shirt, exposing her pregnant belly.
"What are you doing?" Amanda asks.
Pansy puts down the knife a pulls out a jar of paint. She starts painting symbols on Amanda's belly. "I'm preparing you for the ritual. You'll be going into labor real soon."

Remus runs through the countryside, hearing the other werewolves howl as they gather. Soon he finds the others in a glen, right outside the heart of magical London. Fenrir howls getting their attention, they all look his way only to see Voldemort standing next to him.
"My friends, thank you for joining me." Voldemort says and the wolves howl. "Tonight, you will help me and afterwards I will help you."
A group of Death Eaters come up behind Voldemort. "Together with these volunteers you will strike at that which has kept you down all these years. The Ministry of Magic itself."
"While you are doing that, the rest of my followers and I will strike at the institution that rejected you. Hogwarts!" Voldemort says. "So go forth and destroy!"
The pack of werewolves starts running through town. Remus hangs near the back. The Death Eaters follow behind the pack, wands drawn. Remus wonders who they intend to use the wands on. He also wonders what Voldemort is thinking, there's no way that they'll even go close to the Ministry.

Inside the Ministry there sits a man going through paperwork. Magical or mundane everything generates paperwork, and it's his job to make sure everything is filled out correctly and filed right.
Suddenly he stops working, his mind goes blank as he grabs his wand and heads to a restricted section of the Ministry. Nobody pays home any attention, the file clerk is forgettable. He enters the room where all the wards for the Ministry are controlled, the guard inside stands up and pulls out his wand. "Stop right there! Hands up!"
Quickly the clerk says the last word he or the guard will ever hear. "Fiendfyre!" The demonic fire burns the clerk and the guard up in the time it takes the guard to realize something happened. Next the fire burns the wardstone, destroying it and the protections it provides.

Tonks steps through a fireplace into the Ministry right as the lights go out and the fires in all the fireplaces go dead. "Shit!" She says as she shifts her eyes so she can see in the darkness and runs to the auror department. She enters the office, six wands point at her. "Auror Tonks reporting in."
"Tonks, what are you doing here?" Amelia asks as she steps out of her office with her wand in her hand, the tip lit up.
"Grayback summoned the werewolves. Remus is with them." Tonks answers.
"They're attacking somewhere tonight?" Amelia asks.
"Seems that way." Tonks answers.
"This night just keeps getting worse." Amelia says.
A lynx patronus appears near Amelia. "Madam director," Kingsley Shacklebolt's voice comes through the lynx. "I have grave news, the ward stone has been destroyed by fiendfyre, it's still burning, I will try to stall it."
"Evacuate the ministry immediately!" Amelia shouts.
"I'm going to go help Kingsley." Tonks says. "I can control fiendfyre."
Amelia nods. "The rest of you send your patronus to alert everyone."

Harry pushes the door to McGonagall's office open, letting himself, Hermione and Ron in. As they step in they see a crow patronus vanish.
"If you're stepping into my office without knocking someone had better be dead or dying." McGonagall says.
"Draco made a scene of getting Amanda and taking her to Snape's office." Harry answers.
"We strongly suspect that the attack is about to happen." Ron says. "We need backup."
McGonagall sighs. "Unfortunately it doesn't look like we're going to get any."
"What do you mean?" Hermione asks.
"I had just received word from Madam Bones, someone destroyed the wardstone at the Ministry." McGonagall says. "They're evacuating the Ministry now."
Ron jumps forward "You have to stop them!"

"The exit's this way." Amelia says as she leads a group of workers towards an exit.
"Madam Bones, are you sure?'" Arthur Weasley asks.
"I made every auror memorize every exit after the incident last year Mister Weasley." Amelia answers. "I assure you I know where I'm going."
They turn a corner and down the hall is a door with the word exit glowing on it. "I thought all the Ministry's magic was down." Arthur says.
"Little trick a muggleborn came up with, each door has stone that holds magic, as long as it received magic it doesn't do anything. You remove the incoming magic and it'll do what you're seeing. Should last an hour or two." Amelia explains.
'That's brilliant!" Arthur says as few of the other workers head to the door.
Suddenly a silver cat appears. "Amelia, don't leave the Ministry. It's a trap!"
Amelia grabs Arthur and pulls him behind her as one of the workers goes to the door. "Don't open that door!"
The worker doesn't hear Amelia in time and pushes the door open, only to be grabbed by a clawed hand and pulled out. Werewolves start coming in the exit.

Amanda lays bound to an altar, runes painted on her bulging stomach and on the altar. Draco sits nearby chained to a shelf. Several masked Death Eaters roam the room. Pansy stands at the foot of the altar when one of them come up to her.
"Is she ready?" A male Death Eater asks.
"She is." Pansy says. "And I'm prepared to act as midwife."
"Very good, daughter." He says as he walks away. The vanishing cabinet opens and Bellatrix comes through followed by Dolohov and lastly Voldemort. As he steps through all of the Death Eaters kneel.
"Rise." Voldemort says as he walks over to Amanda. "Begin the ritual."
The other Death Eaters gather around the altar and start chanting as Voldemort pulls out his wand. "Now, you and the others will go into labor simultaneously!" Voldemort says as he taps his wand to Amanda's stomach.
