Selene~
"What did you just say?" My voice came out quieter than I expected.
"You heard me loud and clear," she responded.
My chest felt heavy. I was angry, I was in disbelief, I got to my feet and towered over her. "You believe what Michael…?"
She jumped to her feet and glared at me.
"I've always known!" She interrupted.
I took a few steps back and blinked, unsure of what to say.
"I've always known, Selene. Gosh, do you even remember how we met?"
I shook my head slowly. "What does that have to do with anything?"
