It was already midday by the time I woke up.
The room was quieter than usual, I turned back to Eva's side of the bed and noticed that she wasn't there. I sat up, groaning. The emotional drain from this morning game still clung to me.
They only had a few hours to edit all the clips and release the first episode this evening. I took my time freshening up, then threw on a white linen to cover up my black bikini and headed out.
It was pool day.
The backyard was lively. The water in the pool sparkled under the light of the sun. Aaliyah was drifting lazily on a floatie. Eva and Kellen were laying on the loungers with their sunglasses on and drinks in hand. Christopher sat by the edge of the pool with his feet in the water. Aaron was seated beside him, trying to talk to him.
Jordan was nowhere to be seen and Brittany was currently being held in the isolation room.
This was the part where we pretended like nothing happened.
