Soul Land: Tome of Resonance

Shu Cheng, an introverted individual from Earth, found himself reincarnated in the world of Douluo Dalu. Unlike most who are born with their martial souls, Shu Cheng awakens only one martial soul at first: a book, which is no ordinary object. This book is a unique and intelligent Martial Soul, acting as both a source of immense knowledge and a System that can absorb fragments of dead soul beasts, cultivators, and other powerful entities. Upon absorbing these fragments, Shu Cheng gains their memories, wisdom, and feelings—however, it comes at a heavy cost. He must relive their experiences, emotions, expectations, and even dreams, making it extremely difficult to cope with the emotional burden and instability. The System within the book aids him in this process, providing him with invaluable knowledge that can enhance his abilities.

At first, the mental toll is overwhelming, making Shu Cheng emotionally unstable. His mind is flooded with the lives of those he absorbs, leaving him with a heavy sense of grief, loss, and confusion. However, this instability begins to ease when he awakens his second Martial Soul—the Ink Lotus from his mother's bloodline. The Ink Lotus serves as a calming force, helping him stabilize his emotions and regain control over his mind. It becomes an essential tool for him to cope with the emotional turbulence caused by the knowledge he absorbs.

Shu Cheng's journey takes another turn when he discovers his third Martial Soul, the Celestial Compass, which he manually awakens through his father's bloodline. This Compass is a guiding force, pointing him toward lost treasures and hidden secrets of the world, making him a valuable target for various organizations, factions, and individuals. The Compass amplifies his quest for knowledge and provides direction on his path to uncover deeper, more powerful secrets hidden within the world.

Early graduating from the Spirit Academy at the age of just 10, Shu Cheng is driven by a desire to seek more knowledge and uncover hidden treasures, particularly those that could offer him further insights into the workings of this world. His natural curiosity and intelligence push him forward, though his journey is fraught with challenges. He has no interest in simply accumulating power but rather in unraveling the mysteries of the world, especially those involving immortal herbs and ancient techniques. ...
