Since the events in Kyoto against the Heroic Faction, an entire month had passed in the blink of an eye, like the shadow of a tree silently stretching at dusk. You swear it was still morning the last time you looked…
In the meantime, a lot had happened.
After his defeat at the hands of the "Strongest of Humanity," Sirzechs took a full month to recover. Now, finally back in his role as one of the Four Maous, he resumed his administrative duties in the demonic government. However, his prestige had taken a severe hit. No one knows exactly who started the rumors, but like a wildfire sparked by a single ember, the gossip spread quickly through the underworld. It was whispered, in hushed tones, that Sirzechs had returned as… a eunuch.
And, having been defeated by a human, the disdain only grew. Many demons, especially the prouder ones from the Noble Houses, began to look at Sirzechs with barely concealed contempt. To them, his defeat wasn't just a personal humiliation but an insult to the demonic hierarchy itself. After all, what kind of Maou is defeated by an ordinary human?
Grayfia, his wife, wasn't faring much better. Once celebrated as one of the most beautiful women in the entire underworld, her image took an almost irreversible blow after half her face was destroyed. As if the disfigurement wasn't enough, she began to be publicly humiliated on several occasions.
It was said that whenever she tried to act arrogantly, perhaps in an attempt to reclaim the poise she once had, something inexplicable happened: she would involuntarily kneel, banging her forehead before the person she was trying to belittle. It didn't take long for certain demons to take advantage of this. Soon, the Devilnet was flooded with embarrassing videos of her being forced to the ground in front of figures who, in the past, would never have dared to even meet her gaze. Some Nobles posted these recordings as trophies, while others simply reveled in the fall of the former strongest queen of the underworld.
Though the videos didn't remain on the Devilnet for long—Sirzechs made sure to enlist Ajuka to ban them entirely—not only were the humiliating recordings of his wife removed, but so were the videos of his own defeat to the so-called "Holy King."
The crackdown was so severe that even Chaldea's official account was banned from the platform. However, the measure was only a temporary fix. A few days later, Chaldea launched its own communication network, a technology so advanced that it not only replaced the Devilnet for many demons but was also adopted by nearly every pantheon.
Thus was born the [Noosphere], a system that quickly established itself as the new standard for supernatural interaction, not limited to demons or the few other factions that previously used the Devilnet. Its rise was as meteoric as it was inevitable, sending a clear message: by trying to silence his own humiliation, Sirzechs had only hastened the fall of demonic hegemony over communication channels.
Today, few still use the outdated Devilnet.
Naturally, access to the new network was public, made available through proprietary devices developed by Chaldea, purchasable at a low cost, like smartphones (Noosphere One) and high-performance smartwatches adapted for all types of energy. In no time, they became ubiquitous in supernatural circles, from the underworld to the heavens and even Olympus.
The fall of the Devilnet wasn't the only notable collapse during that period. Every single demon who tried to force humans into their nobility was summarily erased from existence. It's estimated that at least 20% of the demonic population was eradicated. Among those eliminated was the Old Satan Faction itself, which, in a desperate attempt to prove demonic supremacy, declared open war on Chaldea.
Shelba Beelzebub, Katerea Leviathan, and Creuserey Asmodeus attacked the mansion where Chaldea's sole leader lived on the outskirts of Kuoh with their subordinates.
The result was catastrophic.
Almost all members of the Old Satan Faction were wiped out by Chaldea…
The details of the battle didn't spread widely, but according to witnesses, only two people handled it…
With everything that happened to regular demons and those in the Old Satan Faction, the demons finally understood that humans were beyond their reach and left them in peace.
The rate of so-called "Stray Demons," reincarnated demons who, driven by selfish desires, broke away from their masters, dropped drastically. Without someone to keep their powers in check, these demons posed a significant threat when they lost control. However, now they've practically ceased to exist and no longer pose a danger to anyone.
While the Demon Faction's standing plummeted in the eyes of the public, the Fallen Angels and Angels who publicly allied with Chaldea became colossal forces, ones that everyone had to handle with extreme care.
Fallen Angels who harmed humans, often in attempts to steal Sacred Gears or for other forms of abuse, were dealt with by Azazel. The few who persisted in these practices were executed, making the consequences of such actions clear to all. In no time, none dared to interfere with humans again.
Similarly, the most extremist believers in the Church who caused harm were eradicated by the Angels.
Aside from these updates about Chaldea's official and unofficial allies and enemies, the focus remained on the human organization itself. About a month ago, during a visit to the Youkai, they encountered the newly formed Heroic Faction, composed entirely of humans, and confronted them. The clash was swift and decisive: the faction was completely exterminated.
The Youkai Faction then allied with them, and the Japanese Gods joined the alliance after a discussion a few days later. In that discussion, a battle took place between Susanoo no Mikoto and Ryougi Kazuya, with the "Strongest of Humanity" emerging victorious, but beyond that, nothing too significant occurred…
The Japanese Gods and Youkai soon adopted a policy of keeping humanity at peace.
In less than a month, Japan became the safest country in the world for both humans involved in the supernatural and those unaware of its existence.
As a result, many humans who were constantly hunted by Japan's supernatural beings gave Ryougi Kazuya the titles of [Holy King] and [Guardian of Humanity]. But that's a story for another time…
In addition to the new technology developed by Chaldea and the established alliances, the organization also changed its base. After the Old Satan Faction's attack on the mansion in Kuoh, Chaldea's members abandoned the location. Since then, no one knows exactly where their faction is located. Rumors persist that their new headquarters is in an artificial dimension created by Ryougi Kazuya, but nothing has been confirmed.
While what happened in the supernatural world was impressive, the events in the normal world were even more shocking…
Chaldea established itself as humanity's greatest organization…
It all began after solving the mysterious disappearance of one of the oceans…
After that, the Director convened the United Nations and presented an ambitious and terrifyingly concrete proposal. He didn't demand or threaten. Instead, he demonstrated, with irrefutable technical evidence and simulations, that Chaldea possessed technology capable of locating, neutralizing, and dismantling any nuclear arsenal on the planet, including those hidden in underground facilities, submarines, or military satellites.
The first actions were diplomatic. Countries that agreed to cooperate had their arsenals deactivated by joint teams of Chaldea engineers and local technicians and were rewarded with access to clean technology, medical intelligence, and advanced infrastructure. Within a week, entire nations replaced their military might with defense systems based on artificial intelligence and orbital surveillance, all overseen by Chaldea.
Those who resisted… never knew the exact moment they were disarmed.
Near-invisible drones, cloaked satellites, and particle interference weapons were used to disable entire silos without triggering a single alarm. Some considered retaliation, but they realized too quickly: their systems were compromised before they could even act.
No bombs exploded, and no wars were started. The demilitarization didn't come through force but through the certainty that resistance was futile. And, for the first time in decades, the world breathed without fear of the red button.
The destruction of nuclear arsenals should have ended the arms race. But, as always in humanity's history, the illusion of power doesn't die so easily.
In the following two weeks, several hostile or simply too-proud nations began secretly reactivating underground facilities, reopening laboratories, and resuming old routes for acquiring enriched uranium and military materials. Some tried developing biological weapons. Others bet on new technologies or even revived experimental projects abandoned during the Cold War.
They thought they could hide their plans. But Chaldea knew everything before the first projects were even internally approved.
Chaldea's global surveillance network, powered by advanced AI, satellites operating in spectrums invisible to conventional technology, and agents with access to the highest echelons of every government intercepted everything: encrypted messages, logistical movements, secret meetings. (Such technologies had been developed in the past month to avoid relying on their magical golem ant technology…)
And then came the "extractions."
Uranium enrichment plants vanished overnight, with all involved scientists waking up elsewhere.
Military installations were neutralized with surgical precision: circuits fried, structures collapsed, fuel evaporated, all without causing deaths. Chaldea's teams entered enemy territory and left unseen, like ghosts.
Some countries tried to react, convening emergency councils or publicly accusing Chaldea of violating sovereignty. In response, the organization simply released documents and recordings exposing the illegal construction of weapons of mass destruction, humiliating their leaders before the international community.
But the final blow was deeper.
Chaldea took control of all the planet's strategic materials. Reserves of uranium, plutonium, lithium-6, advanced explosives, chemical agents, and even industrial printers used for military purposes were tracked, confiscated, or rendered unusable.
The message was clear: nothing that could harm humanity would escape their grasp.
Even private companies supplying microcomponents, military software, or tactical sensors were forced to sign agreements with Chaldea or simply vanished from the map. The black market collapsed. Even the largest cartels couldn't keep their arsenals intact.
In less than a month since the start of their offensive, Chaldea had not only eliminated all known weapons of mass destruction but also prevented any possibility of new ones emerging.
In just one month, the world began to change in ways that once seemed utopian or unattainable.
With the elimination of nuclear weapons and the deactivation of all lethal arsenals, tensions between nations plummeted dramatically. Without the constant fear of mutual annihilation, territorial disputes and diplomatic conflicts began to be resolved through mediation and cooperation—almost always under Chaldea's supervision or influence.
Wars ceased. In regions marked by decades of armed conflict—such as the Middle East, parts of Africa, and Eastern Europe—militias and armies retreated, unable to maintain power without their arsenals. For the first time in generations, thousands of children woke up without the sound of bombs in the background. Families could return to their homes.
Military budgets were redirected. With the certainty that no nation could secretly rearm, many governments began investing the billions previously spent on defense into healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Chaldea itself offered technology and support for rebuilding war-torn areas, along with sustainable solutions for generating energy and purifying water.
International crime collapsed. Without the trafficking of heavy weapons, the black market for armaments vanished almost overnight. Cartels, terrorist groups, and militias lost their primary source of power. Urban safety improved dramatically. In places like Rio de Janeiro, Cape Town, and Istanbul, violent crime rates dropped by over 70% in just a few weeks.
A scientific revolution began. Chaldea released access to previously restricted technologies: new methods for clean energy generation, experimental vaccines for rare diseases, neural prosthetics, and AI-integrated educational systems. In just one month, hospitals worldwide began using Chaldea's algorithm-based diagnostics, reducing mortality rates in critical cases.
The environment started to recover. With the ban on certain types of weaponry and the destruction of heavy military factories, industrial pollution saw a sharp decline. Chaldea also launched climate satellites that began controlling and reducing emissions in real time. The result? Cleaner skies, clearer waters, and a noticeable reduction in average temperatures in some regions.
The global population began to feel hope. Even the most conservative or skeptical media couldn't ignore the results. Protests ceased. Social media was filled with videos of family reunions, schools reopening in war zones, and soldiers returning home. A new kind of faith emerged—not religious, but based on the idea that humanity, under the right guidance, could truly change.
And above it all loomed the image of Chaldea: a human organization, without flag or border, that in thirty days had done more for world peace than centuries of fragile treaties and broken alliances.
The Director of Chaldea, now considered one of the most important figures in modern history, refused awards, interviews, or public honors. His focus remained silent, guiding the world like a benevolent shadow.
But everyone knew, even the most skeptical, that in just one month, the Earth had entered a new era. And with it came an unshakable certainty:
As long as Chaldea existed, humanity would be safe.

Location — ?
In an unknown land stretches a desert of ice that knows no sound of spring. The eternally pale sky embraces a silent white plain where a howling wind weaves through icy mountains, carved over millennia like slumbering giants cloaked in snow.
There, among these mountains, rests a circular structure of enigmatic architecture. The building, made of a material akin to iron and resistant to extreme cold, seems almost alien against the surrounding natural brutality. No sound emanates from its walls. Nothing but the faint hum of internal systems and the occasional crack of distant ice.
Inside the structure, the corridors are long, silent, and white as ivory. The polished floor echoes footsteps softly, muffled by the absolute stillness. Cold lights hang from the ceiling, casting a gentle, steady glow without shadows. Large windows reveal the frozen landscape, an endless expanse of snow dancing in the wind.
Leaning against one of these windows, with a distant gaze and a thoughtful expression, was a young man no older than eighteen.
"…This view really is nostalgic, no matter how many times I see it…" murmured the young man with a faint smile on his lips.
This was Ryougi Kazuya.
Currently, he was at the official headquarters of his secret organization dedicated to preventing the extinction of the human race: Finis Chaldea.
And where exactly was this place?
Well, about a week ago, he had used the [Finis Chaldea Organization Package] within the world created by his [Innovate Clear].
This was where he was now…
But how, exactly, did this place become accessible to his servants?
This was due to one of the abilities of [Innovate Clear], which, like all his Sacred Gears, was a unique subspecies, allowing him to create a kind of "mark" on individuals he recognized as subordinates. Through this mark, they could teleport directly to his personal dimension. In other words, only those chosen by him had access to this world.
Speaking of his Sacred Gear, over the past month, Kazuya had trained almost every day, except when occupied with Chaldea's affairs. As a result, he managed to reach the [Abyss Side] of [Innovate Clear], and not only that, but also of [Telos Karma], [Dimension Lost], and [Annihilation Maker].
Furthermore, he mastered the [True Longinus] to the point of achieving [True Idea], surpassing even the [Balance Breaker] stage.
When he wasn't training, he dedicated himself to Chaldea's administrative matters, both in the human and supernatural worlds. And in his rare moments of downtime, he spent most of his time with his servants, who, visibly nostalgic, were happy to be back at the organization's facilities.
That's how he spent the last month.
His eyes scanned the interface of his unique ability.
[Saint Quartz: 270/100 (daily recharge)]
[Would you like to perform a summon? [Yes / No]]
Ever since he surpassed the [100] limit, that interface had been flashing before his eyes every day. It had been acting strangely all this time, as if something was building up… waiting.
But instead of using one of his chances impulsively, he chose to wait. He waited patiently for an entire month.
Now… the time had finally come.
It was time to use it.
