For some reason, when she heard those words, a faint pain flickered in Rachel's heart.
After listening to Rachel's story about Garrett and Holly, Josephine's mouth dropped open in disbelief. "That's just too dramatic!" she murmured.
Who would have thought that the prince of the entertainment industry, who changed girlfriends like clothes, would end up wanting the very person who was the cousin of her friend?
"Then why was he holding onto your arm back at the counter?" Josephine asked.
"I asked him a few questions, but it seemed like… I touched on some sensitive topics," Rachel replied thoughtfully.
What puzzled her even more was why her cousin would claim it was her who had saved a little boy.
In her memory, her cousin had never mentioned anything about saving a boy when they were kids, let alone calling him "Jarrett."
