"But what?" he raised an eyebrow and asked.
"I have a lot of scars, so the wedding dress has to be designed more conservatively. If it shows too much, those scars will be visible," she replied, feeling a bit embarrassed.
His heart ached at her words. "A conservative design is fine. I don't want my bride wearing a dress that reveals too much," Jeffrey said, a slight smile curling at the corners of his lips as he wrapped his arms around Rachel. "In fact, I'd prefer your dress to cover you from head to toe. You know, I'm a possessive guy, and I can't bear the thought of anyone seeing even an inch of your skin."
What had initially made her feel shy was effortlessly dissolved by his words.
