What was going on?
The innocent, childlike voices from her dream sounded so much like what Garrett had said to her at the little restaurant that night.
Could it be that hearing those words had caused her to dream like that?
With this thought, Rachel frowned again, feeling a dull ache return to her head.
"What's wrong? Not feeling well?" Jeffrey's voice broke into her thoughts.
"It's nothing, just a bit of a headache," she replied.
He lifted his hand, his warm fingertips gently pressing against her forehead and temples, massaging her.
His touch was just right, and the way he rubbed her temples made her feel a lot better.
"Is it any better?" he asked.
"Yeah, a little," she nodded.
"How about I take you to the hospital tomorrow to get it checked out? We should see what's causing this headache," Jeffrey suggested.
"No need. I think my headache is just because of what Garrett said, which led to that dream," Rachel explained.
