Suddenly, it hit her... drinking?!
Rubbing her head, Josephine opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling of her room as memories from last night slowly returned.
Right, she remembered having a late-night snack with Kieran and drinking quite a bit of red wine, then… she must have gotten drunk… and then...
What happened next…?
Bits and pieces of memories surfaced. She vaguely recalled getting into a car with Kieran, and while in the car, she had been all over him!
And then… she seemed to remember saying something, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't recall what it was.
In the end, Josephine gave up on trying to remember.
She could only pray that whatever she had said wasn't anything insulting to Kieran. If it was, knowing how much he held grudges, he might think of a way to get back at her.
Josephine got out of bed and changed her clothes. As soon as she stepped out of her room, she ran into her parents.
