Garrett Vincent's fingers curled tighter around his coffee cup.
"What if I do regret it?" he said, low but firm.
At that moment, he realized how lightly he'd taken Rachel's presence in his life.
He had always thought she was just someone who looked like the girl he'd been searching for, that that was the only reason she caught his attention.
But slowly, it became clear that it was more than that.
