"Don't you like it when I call you that?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
She paused for a second. "It's not that I hate it… it's just kinda weird now that we're, like, officially together. If someone hears, they'll think I'm your actual sister."
But then again, she realized she'd kinda gotten used to it. He had been calling her that from the very beginning, after all.
"How about I just call you Rachel when we're around other people?" he suggested. "And 'sister' will be just for us."
"You seem to really like calling me 'sister,' though," she pointed out.
"Yeah," he admitted. "It's the first time someone ever asked me to call them that."
Rachel's face turned a little red from embarrassment.
"When I call you 'sister,' it feels like there's this unbreakable bond between us," he said.
She blinked, a bit confused, wondering what exactly he meant by that "unbreakable bond."
But he didn't explain any further.
"Alright, let's get some sleep," he said calmly.
