Finally, the phone call ended. Rachel asked, "What did your mom say? You looked like you were suffering...kneeling on the keyboard, really?"
"What else could it be? Arranged dating," Josephine rolled her eyes. "My mom said the guy is a hot commodity. She snatched him away from another mom, so now I have to go meet him."
Josephine honestly didn't understand her mom's mindset.
It was like she thought if Josephine didn't get married within the next couple of years, she'd be single forever.
"Well, just go meet him. Think of it as an opportunity," Rachel said after thinking for a second.
"No way! I'm already stressed enough. If I go on a blind date, I might seriously explode," Josephine said, just thinking about her mom's nonstop matchmaking made her feel sick.
"Is there something else going on?" Rachel asked.
Josephine glanced at her and said, "What if I told you I'm currently dating Kieran? Would you be shocked?"
