"And she even tried to steal Garrett away from me, making him think I'm the one who's always going after her!" Danielle kept going. "Dad, how can she do this? Other people's sisters are happy when their younger sister is doing well. But mine? She only wants to drag me down!"
Brandon frowned, listening closely.
Danielle kept pressing on. "If Garrett actually breaks up with me because of her, I don't know what I'll do! Dad, I really love Garrett!"
"Rachel just can't stand the thought of not getting something good for herself, and she doesn't want Danielle to have it either!" Faith snapped angrily. "If she's trying to ruin things between Danielle and Garrett Vincent, I swear I'll tear her apart!"
Brandon interrupted, "Could there be some kind of misunderstanding?"
After all, Rachel was his daughter too.
Honestly, he didn't really care which daughter ended up with Garrett Vincent. What mattered more to him was becoming Garrett Vincent's father-in-law.
