"That's enough for today. You can get more familiar with it later."
Kawaki waved an arm, dispelling his luxurious villa.
Without comparison, there's no sense of loss—the small townhouse Tsunade lived in now seemed more and more appealing.
"Don't think too much about it."
"This cell fusion—acquiring Wood Release—isn't the most important benefit for you."
Orochimaru didn't continue, but he knew Tsunade understood completely.
For Tsunade, the biggest gain from Hashirama's cells was the increased chakra reserves and regeneration ability.
In the original story, she could survive even if her body were split in half. Calling her an indestructible powerhouse now wouldn't be an exaggeration.
And now, someone couldn't mock her anymore for treating Hashirama's passive ability as her ultimate move.
"Orochimaru is right."
"Wood Release is only a part of it."
Kawaki followed Orochimaru's words immediately.
If a major battle came up, he could handle it himself.
The stronger Tsunade's survival abilities were, the more at ease he felt.
"I'm fine, really."
Tsunade took both of their words to heart. The facts indeed spoke for themselves.
Being a Medical Ninja had always been her main role.
Having Wood Release as an additional technique, whether for offense or defense, was already quite good enough.
After briefly adjusting her emotions, Tsunade's smile returned.
"That's good then."
"Let's go back. Ginji must be missing Mama by now."
After all this mess, half a day had passed. Kawaki thought it was time to return home and check on his son.
It would also put the rest of the family at ease.
Mito might not speak up, but that didn't mean she didn't know everything.
"Mm, let's go home."
Tsunade nodded in agreement.
"You two go ahead. I still have some business with Anbu."
Sakumo's work attitude remained upright—he needed to return to Anbu.
"I'll head back to the lab with Misaki."
"You two go first."
Orochimaru didn't intend to ask Kawaki for a ride. It wouldn't take him long to run back anyway.
He also wanted some time to think on the way back.
"Goodbye, Sister, Brother-in-law."
Misaki waved goodbye to the two.
"Bye then. Me and Tsunade will head out first."
Kawaki said, then pulled Tsunade away, vanishing on the spot.
"Thank you, Orochimaru."
Now Sakumo finally thanked Orochimaru sincerely, speaking as a parent.
"You're welcome, Sakumo."
"It's all what I should do."
Orochimaru smiled faintly. Orochimaru and Sakumo genuinely didn't have much in common.
"You're welcome to visit anytime."
"Bring Aoi Tsukigami too—kids are delightful."
Sakumo was much better than Kawaki—at least he wasn't planning to crash at Orochimaru's place for meals.
As for praising Aoi Tsukigami, it was merely polite talk.
His favorite was still Ginji. Kakashi was starting to get on his nerves.
"Sure, I'll definitely drop by when I have time."
If Kawaki had said those words, Orochimaru wouldn't have answered the same way.
"See you later. I'm off too."
Sakumo waved his hand and disappeared as well.
"Truly a divine technique."
Orochimaru murmured softly, his serpentine eyes revealing a hint of envy.
He'd tried before—he clearly lacked that gift.
Just like his research into Scorch Release, he had made no progress in mastering Flying Thunder God.
"Teacher, let's go."
Misaki didn't wait for a reply and began walking, expecting Orochimaru to follow.
"Let's go."
Orochimaru cast a glance at the vanishing sea of trees, his thoughts brimming with awe.
If all went according to plan, he would be the third person in Konoha to wield Wood Release.
Which ninja village would dare challenge Konoha then?
Deep in his heart, Orochimaru held onto an ambition he'd never revealed to another soul.
It was peace across the entire Ninja World!!!
He had a premonition that war would soon erupt once more.
This was exactly why he devoted himself to studying Hashirama's cells.
Konoha would end the next war, and Orochimaru believed they were capable of it.
Without a shadow of doubt!!
Never again would there be war in the Ninja World.
