"Lord Kawaki, back again so soon?"
As soon as Kawaki appeared in the Hokage's office using the Flying Thunder God Technique, Shouta looked up and noticed him.
"Ah!"
"Tsunade... she's still not done with her work yet."
Kawaki couldn't think of a good excuse. He couldn't very well admit he'd been strong-armed again.
With a helpless expression, he walked over and sat down at the desk.
"Oh right."
Shouta didn't ask further questions—what could Tsunade possibly be doing that would take two whole days?
He wouldn't say he knew everything about Tsunade, but he definitely knew how lazy she was.
Nine times out of ten, Kawaki was likely roped into helping again.
Trying to suppress a laugh, Shouta continued working on his paperwork.
Time flew quickly. At day's end, Kawaki returned home looking exhausted.
"Sister-in-law, where is Tsunade?"
Kawaki looked around the house but couldn't find a trace of her.
"She probably went to the gambling house."
Tsunade hadn't even bothered to greet her when she left. That was Natsuki's guess anyway.
"She got me to cover for her and now she's out having fun."
Kawaki muttered under his breath, clearly powerless to do anything.
Guess he'd just have to keep spoiling her forever.
"What did you say?"
Natsuki hadn't heard clearly and asked again.
"Nothing. I'm going to find her and bring her back for dinner."
After saying that, Kawaki focused on sensing the Flying Thunder God mark on Tsunade.
His figure flickered before vanishing completely.
"B-Big!"
Before he could even look around, Kawaki heard Tsunade shouting loudly from beside him.
He focused his eyes, and sure enough, the dice cup had been lifted to reveal a small number.
No shocker—Tsunade had lost again.
"How did you lose again?"
Tsunade groaned and scratched her head in frustration.
"Have you even won before?"
Kawaki chuckled helplessly. She really had no self-awareness at all.
"You came just in time."
"Help me play a few more rounds."
So engrossed in the game, Tsunade only noticed Kawaki when he arrived and immediately dragged him down to sit beside her.
"What's even the point of playing anymore? Let's head home for dinner."
Kawaki glanced at Tsunade's dwindling pile of chips in front of her.
He said it, but still placed a bet.
"Just a little longer, just a little longer."
As Kawaki placed his bet, Tsunade stopped paying attention to him entirely.
Her eyes were glued to the dice cup without blinking.
"You're not even hedging your bets."
It was pure luck this time.
Kawaki lost too. His luck today really wasn't great.
"Even more reason to call it quits now. Let's go home."
Kawaki had gone all-in on the last round, and now Tsunade had no chips left.
"Fine."
"I'll come back tomorrow and win everything back."
The moment Tsunade said that, Kawaki felt something was off.
Tomorrow? Since when does she have time tomorrow? Wasn't he supposed to cover for her again?
"Tomorrow?"
Kawaki paused mid-step and turned to glare at Tsunade.
"No, I mean whenever I get some free time… y'know, free time."
Tsunade accidentally revealed her true intentions and quickly tried to cover it up.
"Is that so?"
Seeing Tsunade's earnest expression, Kawaki hesitated slightly.
But he had learned his lesson—no matter what, he wouldn't agree tomorrow.
"Yeah, aren't we going home to eat?"
"I'm starving."
Trying to change the subject, Tsunade hurried Kawaki along.
"Alright, let's go home and eat."
Kawaki felt heartache for Tsunade and didn't press further.
When the two returned home, everyone was already there.
"How was it? Did you win?"
Natsuki happily asked Tsunade.
"Don't even bring it up. Kawaki's luck was awful."
Tsunade conveniently avoided mentioning her own rotten luck.
"Haha~"
Kawaki nearly laughed out loud at her shamelessness—he'd only played once!
And yet, she went ahead and threw the whole pot at him.
"What are you laughing at? Wasn't it you who lost everything?"
Tsunade glared at him and said proudly.
"Fine fine fine, it's all me."
Kawaki decided not to argue with her—some women just didn't make sense sometimes.
"You two, just eat already."
Sakumo couldn't understand Tsunade's obsession. What a spendthrift.
If she had both wins and losses, maybe it would make sense.
But if she kept losing every time, what was the point?
The couple took their seats, and after dinner, everyone chatted briefly before leaving.
The family atmosphere remained warm as ever.
At least Tsunade could be considered somewhat reliable.
That night, she indeed tried out some new positions, giving Kawaki quite the thrilling experience.
Many of these moves were ones Kawaki had mentioned but never actually tried—positions she used to find too embarrassing to attempt.
To keep her independence, Tsunade was willing to go all out.
Even though they were long-time lovers, she still blushed furiously.
After their heated session, Kawaki lay satisfied, holding Tsunade in his arms.
"How on earth did you think of those things?"
Tsunade secretly spat in annoyance—this shameless guy again.
Thinking back now, she still flushed red-faced.
Though truthfully, it had been an exciting experience.
"Can you blame me when you're this beautiful?"
Kawaki flipped the script, of course not admitting he'd learned them from Japanese adult films.
"Pfft—you're blaming me now?"
Tsunade shot him another sharp look—she certainly hadn't been thinking about such things.
"It's definitely your fault."
Kawaki pulled Tsunade closer, his big hands freely roaming her body.
"Go to hell. Sleep now."
Tsunade tugged at the blanket, determined not to continue this embarrassing topic.
"Okay, let's sleep."
Kawaki tucked the edges of the blanket, and the two drifted off in each other's embrace.
As for keeping promises, Tsunade had some—but barely any.
The next morning, she spared no effort.
Acting sweet, throwing tantrums, refusing to budge—
She did literally everything possible.

She had completely forgotten the promise she made to Kawaki yesterday.
A perfect embodiment of denying till the end.
No matter how much Kawaki reminded her, she stubbornly stuck to her story.
Only soft, heavy breathing marked her last flicker of defiance.
After his morning workout, Kawaki eventually gave in to this little tyrant.
"You'll get yours,"
he tossed out a parting threat, dressed quickly, stormed out without eating breakfast, and angrily headed toward the Hokage's office.
"No matter how clever you are, you won't escape this old lady's grip."
Tsunade triumphantly clenched her fist.
Feeling slightly hot after exercising, she barely covered her stomach with the blanket before turning over and dozing off again.
In the days that followed, the routine might have changed slightly—but the result was always the same.
Kawaki's stint as a stand-in never stopped from the moment it started.
No matter how hard he resisted, Tsunade always found a way to make him go to work.
The household hierarchy was plain for everyone to see, and he truly deserved his henpecked reputation.
After a period of struggle, Kawaki had clearly given up the fight.
One morning, Kawaki didn't even bother arguing with Tsunade.
When it was time, he simply rose automatically from habit.
"Where are you going?"
Tsunade asked, slightly surprised. She'd been expecting their usual clash.
"You don't know where I'm going?"
Kawaki shot her a glance, full of disdain.
You're really acting clueless?
"Well, look who's being obedient today!"
Tsunade scoffed, not a trace of guilt in her tone.
"Does it even matter if I'm obedient or not?" Kawaki countered, prompting Tsunade to burst into laughter.
"See you later. Sleep yourself to death."
After getting ready, Kawaki threw out those words and walked out the door.
After that, Tsunade truly became a laid-back boss.
Her days were spent either gambling a little, shopping, or sometimes stopping by the lab to conduct research with Orochimaru.
Her daily routine was incredibly laid-back — a mirror image of Kawaki's lifestyle, maybe even more so.
