After some back-and-forth, Uchiha Hikari got a rough sense of where the new group members were in their respective timelines.
In the Akame ga Kill! world, it was before Takanotsume went to the capital. How much earlier? Hard to say exactly, but considering Brand's age at the time of his death in the original story—around 25—it was probably pretty close. Maybe a few weeks at the earliest, or within the year at the latest.
In the Jujutsu Kaisen world, it was shortly after Yuji Itadori accidentally swallowed Sukuna's finger and got dragged into Jujutsu High by Satoru Gojo. At this point, Gojo was still the untouchable symbol of invincibility, so even Sukuna didn't dare mess with him head-on.
As for the One Piece world…
"Yamato's 25 now and met Ace a little over a year ago… So, this is before Luffy sets sail, and the War at Marineford hasn't happened yet?"
Hikari rubbed her chin, deep in thought.
How to put it…
The worlds of these new group members were all pretty dangerous.
Esdeath, a fully-powered Sukuna with all 20 fingers, the Four Emperors of the sea—these were the heavy hitters of their worlds. Even someone as skilled as Hikari, with her Sharingan-sharp instincts honed in the Naruto world, wasn't 100% confident she could take them down without a fight.
But at the same time, those worlds had some seriously tempting stuff: the Teigu of Akame ga Kill!, the cursed spirits of Jujutsu Kaisen, and the Devil Fruits of One Piece…
Once she got to know these newbies a bit better, maybe she could talk them into letting her visit their worlds.
Meanwhile, Bulma and the others were still chatting with the newcomers.
[Bulma: Yo, you two! Are you guys good-looking or what? How about posting a pic so we can see? @Tiger of the West @Brand]
[Tiger of the West: Huh?]
[Brand: What's a "photo"?]
[Iron Head: Um, Mr. Yuji Itadori, could you tell me more about this "Jujutsu High" place? Hikari mentioned it's like a modern-day Demon Slayer Corps, but I don't totally get it. I'm kinda curious…]
[Tiger of the West: Uh… I just started there myself, and Gojo-sensei basically forced me to enroll. Hang on, let me grab Megumi to ask him!]
[Demon Princess @Eternal Sister-Carrier: Mr. Minato, could you tell me more about your story? I'm super curious!]
[Eternal Sister-Carrier: …My life's pretty ordinary, and the things I've done aren't all that special. But if you're really interested, Miss Yamato, I can tell you about my wife, Kushina. We met at the Ninja Academy…]
[Nameless @Brand: Mr. Brand, from what I know, there's a woman in your empire's capital named Aria. She's a rich merchant's daughter who lures in homeless outsiders and tortures them to death in a secret room. If you've got time, you might want to look into her.]
The "Aria" Hikari mentioned was the rich girl from Akame ga Kill! who killed Takanotsume's two childhood friends. In that world, twisted nobles like her were a dime a dozen, with the worst being Minister Honest's son, Sheele. It was exactly because of people like them that Brand and others defected to the Revolutionary Army.
Killing these types outright almost felt like doing them a favor.
Hikari, with her Naruto-style cunning, wondered if she should just bundle them up and send them to Orochimaru's lab. It'd save him the trouble of scrounging for test subjects…
On the other side, Brand paused before typing a reply.
[Brand: Aria?]
[Brand: Never heard of her, but since you brought it up, I'll pass it along to the boss and have someone look into it.]
[Nameless: Cool. If you need any help in a fight, just say the word. I'm not into ordinary loot, but I'd be happy to take the spoils from anyone we take down.]
The Akame ga Kill! world had a ton of Teigu, but a lot of them weren't all that useful to Hikari. Take "Haunted by Demons"—decent performance, but the side effects were too much of a hassle. Or "Beast King," which was similar to the healing abilities she got from the Dragon Balls, maybe even a bit weaker.
What really caught her eye were the Teigu held by the empire: Sheele's "Shambhala," General Budo's "Thunder God's Rage," and Esdeath's "Demon's Extract." If she got the chance to snag those, Hikari was definitely interested.
Brand hesitated for a moment but promised to talk it over with his boss.
Their conversation caught the attention of Yuji and Yamato.
[Tiger of the West: Wait, so this chat group isn't just for talking? You can actually go to other people's worlds?]
[Bulma: Yup! Hikari and I are in Lady Kikyo's world right now.]
[Demon Princess: Really? Can I come too?]
[Nameless: …Probably not.]
[Nameless: That seastone handcuff you're wearing has an actual bomb in it. I don't know the exact mechanics, but if you leave Onigashima, it'll blow up instantly.]
[Demon Princess: ?? You mean my father wasn't just bluffing?]
[Nameless: So, who are you gonna believe—me, or your shady, scheming dad?]
Back on Horai Island, Bulma looked up at Hikari, stunned. "Hikari, are you saying…"
"It's real."
"…That's just insane! What kind of father puts a bomb on his own daughter?! What's that Kaido guy even thinking?!"
"Who knows?" Hikari shrugged.
As a relatively normal Uchiha—by Naruto standards—she couldn't wrap her head around the logic of One Piece characters. Maybe someone like Obito or Itachi could figure it out…
But it wasn't a huge deal. A pair of handcuffs? There were plenty of ways to deal with that. The simplest would be to cut off Yamato's hands and give her a Senzu Bean to regrow them. For a more precise approach, Bulma could probably whip up a lockpicking tool without much trouble.
The real issue was…
Even if they got the handcuffs off, Yamato had nowhere to go.
"Yeah…" Bulma mulled it over, then her eyes lit up. "Hey, what if we went over there and started our own pirate crew?"
"?"
Hikari blinked, then burst out laughing. "A pirate crew's not that easy to pull off. First, you'd need a ship—one that can handle long voyages on the open sea…"
"Hmm…" Bulma scratched her head. "Maybe next time I'm home, I'll ask Dad if we can find an old military ship to fix up. That should work for sailing, right?"
Hikari: "?"
