Chapter 3 - New neighbour

Chapter three.

Subtitle: new neighbour.

*Freda*

When it was finally time to go home after a hectic and not so nice day I wasted no time and ran all the way to the parking lot. Cindy had suddenly disappeared after the second to the last class and now I'm here, standing besides her car that's locked, unable to get in.

I leaned on the car and browsed through my phone as students drive out of the parking lot one after the other.

The place was really noisy and I probably paid more attention to my phone, I didn't notice the time Jeremy pulled his car out of the parking lot and begin to drive out of the school building. Cindy's car was parked nearest to the gates so he halted just in front of me and honked his car aggressively to get my attention.

My eyes shoot up immediately.

"Do you need a ride home?"

He asked with a straight face.

Although we are the same age, Jeremy and Trisha have their own cars while I don't.

My aunt isn't that rich and can't buy a car for all of us, the twins dad got it for them for their last birthday.

Aunt Hilda kept going on and on about buying me a cheap car one of these days but I've managed to convince her not to since I don't really need it, at least not now. I'm still in highschool and for now I could always hitch a ride with Jeremy or Cindy when I need to get to school or back. I could never ride with Trisha, she leaves before I even wake up and she's always the last one to get back home.

"I'll just wait for Cindy, I'm sure she'll come along very soon."

I smiled at him.

"I wasn't going home directly anyways, I was going to drop by the gym. Thanks for saving me the trouble."

He muttered with a smile and drove off.

I smiled back as I watched his car drive out of the school gate.

Jeremy is a calm person and although we don't have a deep relationship I'd say he's my favourite cousin.

I know he was just being polite by asking me to ride with him, he can't just drive off and leave his cousin behind. He would've dropped me off at home first before going back to the gym.

Silvia usually rides with Trisha so he doesn't worry much about her.

Ii looked back towards the school building to see Cindy running down the stairs. I registered a huge frown on my face, she better have a good excuse for being late.

Just then a motorcycle comes to a quick halt in front of me. I flinched as I'm taken aback.

The rider places both legs on the floor and removed his helmet.

"Hello Freda."

He called, I eyed him from head to toe.

"Tyrone."

I muttered with a bitter look on my face.

He just scared the shit out of me.

"You don't look pleased to see me. You still mad at me?"

He asked.

I rolled my eyes.

"I don't have time to be mad at someone I barely know."

I rolled my eyes and fixed them back on my phones screen.

"Can I give you a ride home?"

He asked.

I looked up and stared at his face then at the black motorcycle.

"Oh heck no."

I snapped.

Just then Cindy swooshed in and almost landed on my toes.

"I am so sorry Freda. Mrs Smith had me running some errands for her. Don't be mad."

She apologized.

Her face broke I to smiles as soon as she saw Tyrone.

"Hello handsome.."

She greeted with a playful gaze.

Tyrone chuckled.

"I guess your ride is here. I'll see you guys around."

He said with a smile, looking at my face but when I didn't acknowledge him he kick-starts his bike and prepares to take off.

"See you around Cindy."

He winked at my best friend who looked as if she's been knocked off her feet.

I almost slapped her.

***

"Seriously what could go wrong? He's a new handsome hunk and every girl In school has the hots for him. He happens to have a sweet spot for you, something tells me he fancies you "

Cindy said loudly as I alighted from her car.

I've endured unbearable minutes of her constantly praising Tyrone all the way from school to my house. The ride was pretty slow and traumatizing.

"Goodbye Cindy."

I shut her off with a sigh as I walked off and then through the not so large hate of my home, the amazing scent of flowers welcomed me as soon as I stepped in.

Quiet a number of butterflies have now made our home their home as well and although they fly around and everywhere I like their presence as it makes the home look lovely and beautiful.

"Go get changed, I need you and your sister to take these muffins to the new neighbours."

Aunt Hilda didn't give me the change to breath as soon as I'm inside.

That was the first thing she said to me, she didn't even acknowledge my greeting.

Both Trisha and Silvia were sitting sluggishly in the sitting room, enjoying some of the muffins.

"How'd you two get home before me?"

I asked, surprised.

None of the sister answered me, thet both said nothing.

Then Trisha said, " Freda can take it. Silvia and I need to go pick up my dress for the school dance and we need to get there early for the fitting."

My aunt Hilda sighed, she knew her daughters, once they say something it's quiet difficult to change their minds.

Her eyes went to my face with a doe and sad look on, I know she's trying to Babyface me into taking the muffins alone.

"I'll do it."

I said and return her look with a smile.

"But I need to wash up and have some of those muffins first."

I added.

******

I looked down at my wristwatches watch and tapped my shoes against the nice smooth floor of our neighbours mansion.

I've been at the door for almost three minutes and no one has answered the door.

I knocked again and almost immediately the door flung open and a little girl that seemed to seven years old stood by the door, looking at me with questioning eyes.

"Hi.."

I waved.

My aunt sent me over with some muffins."

I told the little girl with a smile on my face.

The girl looked back Into the home and almost immediately another pretty girl that looked almost like her approached the door.

"We can't accept it. But our mom is upstairs do you can take it to her if you want."

The second girl said.

Is it me or do these twins act like a much more worst version of Silvia.

They are total snobs and they're not even smiling, they both seem so cold.

My aunt didn't do her research well, these girls are certainly not the same age as Silvia, they are much younger.

I sighed and stepped into the magnificent mansion.

My mouth hung open as I looked at the all white home that hand Minimalist touches of black here and there.

The ceilings were Soo high up and a massive chandelier hung down at the center.

"Where's you mommy's room?"

I asked.

The first girl pointed upstairs and the two went back into the sitting area, sat down on a couch and pretended as if I wasn't there.

I sighed as I took for the stairs.

Their stairs, unlike ours do not creak and make funny sounds, they were as smooth as the smoothest thing you can ever think of and they were pure white.

The stairs was long and shaped like and S and it took me a while to get to the upper floor.

I walked down the asiles of rooms while looking around like a lost puppy.

There were four bedrooms on the top floor in total, I guess there would be more rooms but on the other wing of the house since it's quiet big, coupled with the fact that there are more rooms downstairs too.

The wind in this mansion seemed very cool and smelt nice.

I stood for a while and looked at the four rooms, trying to determine which one was the master bedroom.

Two of the rooms looked promising and I walked towards the one of my left and knocked on it eagerly.

I was nervous, what will my new neighbour say?

Is it even okay for me to come knocking at her bedroom when I've never met her?

For a while there was no sound or response and I was going to knock for the second time but then the door to the room flung open and a very tall, sturdy, muscular and naked figure stood in front of the opened door.

The room was quiet dark so it took me a few seconds to recognize who was standing before me.

I

gasped and turned around quickly, shutting my eyes as tight as I can.

Why the f*ck is Tyrone my new neighbour?
