Chapter 29 - The Recruitment Drive
Jack sits at his desk, scrolling through a list of potential hires. The rollout of the payment processing system is a massive undertaking, and he can't afford to make any mistakes. Every developer, technician, and project manager he brings on board will be crucial to the success of this operation.

Chris enters the office, a stack of résumés in hand. "Here's the latest batch. These are the top software engineers in the city. I've already scheduled interviews for you."
Jack flips through the résumés, his eyes sharp and focused. "I don't want just the best. I want the most ambitious. The ones who have something to prove."
Chris nods. "Understood."
"Also, have we had any word on Leonard?" Jack asks without looking up.
"He's been quiet so far. Too quiet," Chris says, crossing his arms. "I have a bad feeling about him."

Jack's jaw clenches. "Keep digging. If he's planning something, I want to know before he makes a move."
Later that day, Jack begins the interviews. One by one, candidates file in – nervous, confident, some even cocky. But none of them impress Jack.
Until she walks in.
A woman in her mid-twenties with striking green eyes and an air of quiet intensity steps forward. "I'm Mia Turner."
Jack raises an eyebrow. "You're the one who developed the cybersecurity software that shut down that hacker group last year."
Mia nods, her gaze unwavering. "And the one who got fired for it because my boss was on their payroll."
Jack smirks. "Perfect."

"You're hired," Jack says, extending his hand. "Welcome to the team."
Mia shakes his hand, a slight smile curving her lips. "Thanks. You won't regret it."
Later, as Jack watches Mia leave the office, the system chimes in:

Jack's eyes narrow. "Chris, get in here. We're about to have a problem."
