She stayed in her room for the rest of the day .the next morning Ann went to the kitchen to take some water but was stopped by kella ,she told Ann to handover the water to her but Ann refused saying that she got there first . When kella notice that Mom and Jerry were approaching the kitchen she collected the bottle of water from Anna and poured it on herself then return the bottle to Ann. When Jerry and Mom came they saw Kella on the floor mom slapped Ann before she could say anything, she also wanted to explain but Jerry slapped her again and warned har not to touch his sister again saying he has long seen Kella as his biological sister. Mom as well added if you ever lay your finger on my daughter again, I will send you out of this house. Ann endured everything.
Everyone was in the dining about to take breakfast when Ann said, mom please I need some money to get new clothes for myself, the ones I have are very old, I can't keep wearing it here. Mike scolded her saying, are you stupid, don't you see everybody is eating now, can't you wait after eating. He's stood up and left the dining table saying that he lost his appetite, same thing everybody stood up and left the dining for Ann alone. She was heartbroken but taught to herself,she said"with time everybody is going to accept me". Mom called everybody including Ann , she said, I have something to announce, from today henceforth Ann is not allowed to eat with us in the dining she can eat in the kitchen or anywhere except from the dining.Ann nodded and agreed to the new arrangement.
Kella came to Ann she told her that everybody was going out today for a special meeting she told on that mom and dad said she can come along with them. Ann was very happy so she went to her room to get her clothes to wear after dressing up, after dressing up she went to the car to wait for mom, dad and her siblings. When they came out , Mike was going to be driving mom, dad and Kella along while Jerry will be driving Peter along. When Ann wanted to enter the car, Jerry said he cannot carry her along because she look like a beggar so they all asked her to take a taxi along. She was disappointed but had no other option but to do as they said.
When they got to the event center Mrs. Edwin introduced Kella as her daughter . One of the guest asked, I thought you found your biological daughter why is she not here . Ann introduced herself to the lady as Mrs edwin's daughter but everybody laughed at her . Someone even said, is this not a beggar?.Ann was very ashamed, immediately Kella came out, hold Ann's hands saying " sis we know you grow up in the orphanage but you don't have to dress this way to an occasion like this, are you trying to embarrass Mom and Dad. Ann kept quiet but she ran outside and cried heavily. She was treated as if she was the adopted one and not the biological daughter.
