About a Month ago…
It was night time. The moon hung above the sky spreading a brilliant light over the sky reaching skeletal remains and the lands below it.
Through the darkness of the outer area of the forest within the grounds, hurried steps could be heard through the rustling trees and bushes. A figure of a man running desperately through the middle of the trees could be seen through the darkness.
Behind him, three more people in dark attire like assassins followed suit with very fast speed. They were following the young man with clear malicious intent in their eyes.
They were sent to kill the young man after he was announced to have no potential in becoming a transcendent. Their superiors promised benefits that were very beneficial to them.
They were assigned this menial task from the superior's right after the boy's situation was announced. But up until now, they never had any chance of killing the boy without being caught.
