At the bustling market, Selina and Rowan stepped out of a store after she finished purchasing fabric.
"Thanks for shopping here," the store owner said, and Selina gave him a slight nod.
"What's next?" Rowan asked.
"We need to fix this machine since I don't know when the one at home will be taken away," Selina replied, glancing at her mother's machine in Rowan's hands.
She lifted her gaze and noticed Rowan's puzzled and shocked expression.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Selina asked as they walked sideways through the busy market.
Rowan looked away. "You just referred to the Cassius estate as 'home.' That implies you feel at home there."
"It provides me with physical comfort, but I haven't gotten close to anyone. I haven't thought about it," she muttered.
