Chapter 20: The Siege Begins
The village walls trembled as the sound of war drums echoed through the forest. Srabon stood atop the Archer Tower, eyes narrowed as the Goblin King's army emerged from the treeline.
Rows upon rows of goblins, giants, and hog riders marched forward, their weapons gleaming in the dying light. At the center of the horde stood the Goblin King himself — a massive, hulking figure draped in black armor, his crimson eyes fixed on the village.
"This is it," Srabon muttered, clenching his fists. "Everyone, take your positions!"

Mira climbed up beside Srabon, her bow drawn. "I count at least three giants and dozens of hog riders."
"We can't let them reach the walls," Srabon said. "Mira, aim for the giants' legs. Builder, activate the traps once they're inside the kill zone."
The Builder nodded, sprinting toward the traps while the Barbarians lined up behind the barricades, weapons ready.
The Goblin King raised his massive sword and bellowed, "Charge!"
The ground shook as the horde surged forward. Mira released her first arrow, striking a giant in the leg. It stumbled but kept advancing. Srabon gritted his teeth. "Hold the line!"
The first wave of goblins hit the traps, triggering explosions that sent bodies flying. But the giants kept coming, smashing through the barricades.
Srabon drew his sword, charging forward to meet them. "For the village!"
