Chapter 7: Encounter with the Goblin King
The sun was setting over the village, casting long shadows across the training grounds. Srabon paced back and forth, the recent defeat still fresh in his mind. The Barbarians and Archers lined up before him, waiting for orders.
[New Quest: Scout a Goblin Outpost. Reward: 500 Gold, 300 Elixir.]
Srabon opened the system interface, displaying the map. A red marker flashed ominously in the dense forest to the east.
"What's that?" Srabon asked, frowning.
The Builder walked over, his face grim. "That's one of the Goblin Outposts. They've been raiding nearby villages for weeks."
Srabon's jaw clenched. "Are they the same ones that attacked us?"
"Possibly," the Builder said. "But there's something else you should know." He lowered his voice. "Rumor has it the Goblin King himself is in that outpost."
Srabon swallowed, his heart pounding. "The Goblin King?"
"A ruthless leader. Strong, cunning, and with a massive army. If we're going to attack, we need to be ready."
Srabon turned to his troops. "Listen up! We're scouting that outpost. We're not going for a full attack yet. Just gather information and come back safely."
The Barbarians and Archers nodded, their expressions tense but determined.
[New Objective: Scout the Goblin Outpost without being detected.]
As the troops marched out, Srabon watched them disappear into the forest. The Builder placed a hand on Srabon's shoulder.
"If the Goblin King is truly involved, we need to be very careful."
Srabon nodded, his fists clenched. "This time, we won't be caught off guard."
