CH953 Unsettled Yearning of a Lost Soul
***
About eight years ago, around the time of his Transmigration, True_Sage's soul had taken over Alex Fury's body by merging with its original, weaker soul and becoming the dominant party in the merger.
For the most part, the ego that emerged from the fusion was that of True_Sage.
However, that did not mean the body's original soul had no influence on the fusion.
It had granted the merged soul access to its memories and bloodline with little to no resistance. However, the original soul's most potent emotions had also carried over through the merger.
One of these was fear towards Earl Drake Fury—or rather, the fear and disappointment of a son who believed he had failed his father.
Unlike True_Sage, who had seen through Earl Drake Fury's cold façade, the original soul had believed he had disappointed his father, which was why he had been exiled to the Back Mountain Lodge.
