"Alex, I'll need to go to Soren," Megan suddenly announced.
Alex's hands paused for a moment before he continued eating his breakfast.
"Soren? That's the other portion of your territory, isn't it?" he asked as he resumed his meal.
"Yes," Megan confirmed with a nod.
Countess Megan Fury held a divided territory. Her primary territory was Highburn, located in the extreme north-central part of the Fury Lands, while her other, larger territory lay in the south, on the opposite side of the Clan's lands and closer to the centre of the Empire, where it shared a border with Earl Hertarian's domain.
"Is there a problem in Soren? Do you need any help?" Alex asked.
"Thanks, but I'm an Elder of our Clan for a reason. I can handle whatever trouble comes my way." Megan smiled as she bit into a loaf of bread.
After finishing the loaf, she brushed her hands together to remove the crumbs.
