CH964 Quiet Date I
***
The next day, dressed in plain clothes, Alex and Megan took a stroll through the city of Highburn Castle.
Wearing a plain white top and black hunter trousers, Megan exuded a potent blend of tomboyish charm and feminine allure. Meanwhile, although Alex was dressed in a simple commoner's shirt and trousers, his noble bearing and extraordinary presence were difficult to conceal.
Bella had forced Megan's two adjutants to take over her duties for the day so that this 'stroll' could happen.
Officially, it was scheduled as an inspection tour of the city by the Countess, with Young Master Alex acting as her overt security.
The two didn't take a carriage and instead travelled on foot. Alex reasoned that an inspection was best conducted on foot. That said, he still had Dread remain nearby and on standby, ready to join them if necessary.
Their first stop was the city's central plaza.
