The Roarers closed the third up ten, and the players came back to the bench still riding the high.
Kamara couldn't let it go: "That last stunt Stith pulled—man, that was something else. Loose Cannon? Yeah, he earned that name fair and square."
A low ripple of laughter ran down the bench.
"Zip it." Crawford.
The bench went dead quiet on the spot.
Crawford's eyes swept over all of them. "You think this game's already won? The fourth quarter—Paladins' points per game, offensive rating, net rating, all of it: top five in the league. Every category."
The grins drained off their faces.
Ryan spoke up. "Don't worry. We're not letting up."
Crawford gave a nod, then set the lineup for the fourth—Ryan, Darius, Malik, Kamara, Stanley—walked them through a set or two, and the timeout was gone.
Both sides came back out. The Paladins had their five starters on the floor.
