Sunny did not know how long the ride took, but it gave him enough time to let his thoughts wander. Iya wasn't as cruel the first time they met. He liked her and protected her, but as a younger sister. He had never had thoughts of crossing over. However, after today's incident, he doubted they would ever be on speaking terms again.
Sunny stared at the shimmering moon, the only witness to his calamity, with whom he felt at ease sharing his thoughts.
"Hmmm," he sighed deeply.
"What would tomorrow look like?" he wondered.
The carriage had not taken Sunny to his house as he had hoped. It wasn't until the guards opened the gates of Damon's apartment that he noticed the change of location.
"Hey... take me home," he said, but the guards carried out their jobs like they heard nothing.
