Ratchet was in the medbay and he was almost done clearing up the patients. He cleaned up one of the humans and their wounds as he asked "Are you alright now?" As they nodded. They looked down at their leg, remembering when they been suffocated by the shelve "Yeah it's better now, my leg still hurts a bit." Ratchet understood before saying "You had a blunt wound to your leg, so it's understandable that you still are hurt. What's your name if I may ask?" The human looked as he said his name "I'm Ivan." Ratchet looked at Ivan as Ivan looked to be recovering from the whole explosive event that had happened.
"I think I should be good to walk now." Ivan got up, thanking Ratchet and left. Ratchet sighed as the last patients left as he looked at the time. "That took a seriously long time. That has been one of the largest check ups I had to do." Ratchet soon got a call as he answered "This is Ratchet, who is this?" Ratchet looked at his com-link before hearing a voice "This is Reion, we found a couple of more injured patients outside. I'll take them to you." Ratchet was stressed out seriously as he hasn't gotten a break for a few days at least. Ratchet looked at the corner wondered if there was anything there as he slowly said "I'll be there..."
He soon turned off the com-link hearing something in the corner as he turned on the light of the medbay. He saw nothing, wondering if his mind was playing tricks on him as he thought he saw something. Maybe he was stressed out? He wasn't sure. He soon saw Reion open the door as she began carrying the patients one by one into the medical beds as she soon left to get the rest. Ratchet was starting to become truly frustrated with the numbers as he began fixing them up again. He began cleaning them up, healing their wounds and soon they left. The repeated process happened over and over again as he could feel himself get distracted and look over to the side sometimes.
Ratchet soon finished and by the time, he was absolutely exhausted and had fallen asleep standing. He had a nightmare as he woke up in a place where energon and metallic skeletons were on the floor, the whole area was a dull bright yellow and red as he heard sounds of screaming and people getting slaughtered in the messy state of Cybertron. He saw some of the racers looked panicked as the races had been hijacked, some of the streets had wilted metallic flora while the sounds of people yelling to get to safety was ringing in Ratchet's audios. He carefully walked through hearing Autobots and Decepticons try to get the upper hand while innocent civilians were caught in a cross-fire. He saw a Cybertronian look worriedly at him before shaking their head and running away into the horizon.
Ratchet woke up as he heard knocks on his door as he said "Come in." The person who came in was Seaspray who had his neck scratched and bruised all over. "Well, do you think you can do a favour Ratchet?" Ratchet nodded as Seaspray stood in front of the door. "Yeah turns out that we left human documents in the lower floors but since I'm busy can you go get it?" Ratchet was considering to tell him to get it himself but hesitated and said "Yeah, I'll take it from here." Seaspray nodded as Ratchet watched him leave and closed the door. Ratchet got up, as he went outside and into the hallway. He could notice that everyone was still chatting but there was a small increase of caution. He went through the stairs and into the ground floor where not many people came.
Ratchet walked through the rather dark place as he turned on the lights. He soon saw a wooden cupboard nearby as he opened up the doors and took them from the inside. He opened them to see what was so interesting inside. He saw a couple of papers which were discussions about technology and recent adverts. But one caught his optic. It was a recorded case of a legal issues, most likely about the power stations. His optics looked down seeing that that there had been some electrical issues concerning the power stations and there had been a examination going on in the inside. There was also a small interview to the owner of these power station about the general issues.
Ratchet finished reading over those as he soon went to find Seaspray and give him the human documents. He noticed Seaspray near the main area and noticed that when he was gone, Seaspray had gotten a few plasters around his neck. Seaspray was reading over an advert before noticing Ratchet and putting down the advert. "Ah! Did you get what I needed, Ratchet?" Ratchet nodded before handing him the files. The fun sea-loving mech looked them over before approving of them and leaving afterwards. Ratchet looked exhaustingly before going into the medical bay again to actually get some proper rest.
Ratchet opened the door to the inside of the old medbay before closing it going inside of his berth to get some actual rest. He laid down trying to calm himself down before shutting his optics and going into sleep mode. His systems cooled down a bit as he went into a deep sleep. Not until he went into a lucid dream where he was back on the dead Cybertron again. He ran through the wasteland, desperate to find survivors as his optics looked panicked. "Is there anyone there? Hello!?" He soon saw a young Cybertronian on the floor looking frightened. He picked them up before running to find shelter for them. He saw a building nearby as he put the young Cybertronian there as they looked upwards in confusion. He comforted them before running off to find more survivors.
He soon saw someone nearby which was staring into the distance. They looked upwards at the sky as Ratchet came closer in confusion. He soon tried to reach out his hand not before they turned around as Ratchet pulled his hand immediately away. That was Starscream and he had a wide manic smirk on his face before saying "Stuck in a dream eh?" Ratchet's breath hitched at the sound of Starscream's voice as he mocked with with a glance of his own. Starscream soon said with a smirk "Be careful of what you see, Medic." He snapped his fingers together before Ratchet noticed a slight darkness that appeared for a moment before he saw Starscream fly off into the distance.
Ratchet woke up before panting and looking around before saying the only thing that came to mind "Now that's no regular lucid dream that I had."
