After dropping Ayzal at her office, maaz drive back to his office and walked into his room, and started working but the problem was he couldn't focus on his work, instead he was excited to pick Ayzal back from her office in the evening, he was smiling to himself while looking at the file and didn't realise his secretary was continuously calling him standing at the door of his room. Katie (maaz secretary) knocked on the door a bit loudly, and maaz snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the door with confused expressions and spoke "huh.. uh.. w-what happened why are you beating the door" Katie spoke in a respectful and professional way "sir I was knocking the door and calling your name for almost more than 5 minutes but you are lost in your thoughts, I didn't leave because it's important" maaz cleared his throat and spoke while suppressing the smile on his face "amm... Yeah I was busy in some work, but leave it and come in" Katie walked in his room towards his table and put a file in front of him and spoke " Mr. Azaan and I had a meeting with Mr Zayn and you weren't there so here is all the details about the current project with Mr Zayn, he wants your signature as an approval, Mr Azaan asked me to give him this file back after taking your signatures and checking it" maaz kept nodding his head while listening to her words attentively, he wasn't looking at her but signing the documents and reading it. Maaz looked up at Katie and spoke "Ms Katie you can go I'll call you later when I'll check these documents and sign them" Katie nodded and left the room and get back to the work.
As the day moved forward everyone got busy in their lifes, until the sun started setting down, maaz concentration was completely buried in his work, his gaze fell on the files that his dad asked him to sign and check and he forgot that, he stood up and took the file and walked towards the couch in his room. Maaz sat down on the couch and placed the file in front of him at the table, he leaned his head back on the headboard when his gaze fell on the wall clock, his eyes widened as he saw it was already 8 and he also had to pick Ayzal, he picked up his file and rushed towards his seat, he grabbed his suit jacket and walked out of room. Katie was walking towards his room as she saw him walking out of his room urgently, she joined her eyebrows and spoke while calling his name "sir! Maaz sir!!" Maaz sighed loudly and spoke to her "what is it, just tell me hurry up I'm getting late already" Katie spoke " sir you didn't send me the file nor you told me about the more details and Mr Azaan and Mr Zayn is continuously asking for the file and project products" maaz looked at the files in his hand and back at Katie and spoke "don't worry about it I'm going back home so I'll talk to dad about it, beside go back home it's getting late already" he left the building without letting her say anything, he drive towards ayzal's office at the high speed.
MAAZ POV
I drove my car at a good speed and rushed towards her office, I wasn't sure about her reaction and I was thinking if my day is gonna end with another slap by her. As I reach in front of her office I saw her talking to the cab driver and my mind immediately clicked that she was waiting for me and now she is taking cab, I got out of my car and ran towards her. I stood beside her and was about to grabbed her arm, but my arm stuck at the mid, I saw Ayzal looked at my arm as I froze it in the mid arm but didn't touch her, we hold eye contact for a few seconds even she broke and moved her attention towards the cab and moved the door. I got panicked slightly and closed the door again and spoke to the driver "she doesn't need any cab now, thank you so much, you can go" the cab driver looked at me and spoke "sir my client needs to cancel the ride and pay me the amount then I'll surely leave" I joined my eyebrows and spoke "amount? But she didn't take the ride" the driver looked at me with "are you serious" expressions and spoke "but I still come here just to pick her up and I'm also ready to drop her at the destination" I looked at Ayzal and spoke "c'mon buttercup, cancel the ride" I saw her raising the eyebrow and she took her phone out of her bag and canceled the ride, I felt a bit disbelief because she didn't argue, I looked back at the driver and payed him the amount and turned around and looked at Ayzal and spoke " ok I'm sorry I'm so sorry and I'm ready for the punishment too even if it's the same slap, but right now let's go back home" Ayzal still didn't respond her back to me and walked towards his car and again hit her hand on the car door as a signal to open it, I chuckled and walked towards the driving seat and spoke "it's already unlocked dear buttercup"
AYZAL'S POV
I saw maaz came to pick me up but I already call the cab because I was waiting for him for half an hour. I was about to sit in the car when I saw him coming towards me and he was about to hold my hand but he didn't he asked me to cancel the drive, I don't want to listen to him and take the cab but Canada's can aren't every good for the girls especially at night so I cancel the cab with being stubborn. I didn't walked to him not even once because I was too angry, I licked my lower lip in frustration and silently sat down at the passenger seat, I saw him sitting on the driving seat and buckling up the seatbelt, I looked at my seatbelt and also buckled it up but his words reluctantly repeats in my mind "I just wanna ask you wear your seatbelt that's it I'm just saving your life, aren't I" I tried to push my thoughts away and looked out of the car's window when I heard him asking "hey, buttercup how was your day huh?" I moved my gaze towards him with annoyed expressions and stayed silent and again looked out of the window" I heard he chuckled which just flared my anger and he spoke in a playful voice "oh so the iconic silent treatment, don't worry buttercup you have to handle me for more 2 to 3 days because I'm gonna give you pick and drop and don't wanna mention but your beloved dad texted me if I can do it or not, and of course I said yes" I heard his words which only boiled my blood but I didn't respond back. After a while we reached back my home and I got off the car without letting him flirt more, I took my bag and saw he also got off and walked towards me and I spoke in a low angry voice "are you still gonna stay here tonight too?" Maaz chuckled at my words and spoke to me "I wish, I wish, I wish, but no buttercup, I just wanna see off you" I gave him an annoyed face and spoke "well I don't need it so back to your house and I don't wanna see your face after you kept me waiting for you, useless idiot" he laughed loudly and it was just making me punch his face but I controlled myself and he continued "don't worry buttercup I can take these punches my whole life dearly, and don't worry I won't let you be upset with me for too long" after boiling my anger he walked back to his car and seated inside while kept holding eye contact with me, he reversed the car and blowed a flying kiss towards me and felt without letting me say a single word at his disgusting behaviour, I sighed and speak to myself "eww, childish" and I walked back in my house with a tired and exhausted body.
AUTHOR POV
After doing flirt, showing his childish behaviour and getting scold from his buttercup maaz drive back towards his house happily while continuously smiling and mumbling, creating own scenarios and being delusional. After a while when he reached back home he got off the car and took his file and jacket, he walked inside the house and saw his father was sitting at the head seat on the dining the table and his mother and maids were serving dishes on the travel, maaz further walked inside and heard his father half sentence "that's why I'm saying it's time for maaz to get married" and his mother nodded in agreement and spoke "I also think so but I need you to talk to him he's not gonna listen to me easily"
