Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

"I'm sorry, have we... met before?"

"We haven't met before, but we might become classmates later. I'm also a new student at Hogwarts this year," Robert said.

"As for how I know you..." He picked up a kraft paper booklet from the side and quickly flipped through a few pages.

"Oh, found it. Mr. Abbott's appointment yesterday, coming to the shop at ten o'clock to choose a new wand for his daughter. Am I right?"

"Yes," a tall wizard stepped forward, facing Robert, and frowned slightly.

"But I remember the owner here is Ollivander..."

"Ollivander's Wand Shop. My grandfather hasn't sold this shop; there's no doubt about that," Robert said jokingly.

Hearing Robert's words, the man nodded, letting out a sigh of relief.

They had come to buy a wand for their daughter, who was about to start school at Hogwarts. Upon entering the familiar wand shop, they were surprised to see a stranger.

For a moment, the man even suspected that the shop had been sold.

It wasn't that he was making a fuss; it was because, in his memory, Ollivander had never hired any shop assistants. Whether it was making wands or selling them, he did everything himself.

It had been like this since he was in school, and it hadn't changed for decades.

However...

He thought of the way the young wizard had addressed Ollivander just now.

"You said grandfather just now?" The man's face showed a hint of curiosity.

"Robert Ollivander," Robert extended his hand.

"Ah... Nice to meet you."

The man wasn't surprised by Robert's young age and likewise extended his hand in a serious manner.

"From your age, Garrick should be your grandfather, right? Strange, how come I've never seen you?"

"Probably because very few people come back to a wand shop repeatedly," Robert shrugged.

"Ah, that's true,"

"Bang!"

"Mr. Ollivander?"

"Customer..."

"Found it.

"What did you say?"

[Holly, Phoenix feather, eleven inches]

"Oh, Hawthorn, eleven inches, Dragon heartstring, right?

...

"Is that a wand too?"

"Yes,"

"Is there anything special about it?"

"Special... you could say that,"

"No, Ron, we don't have money to buy you a new wand. I think Charlie's wand is perfectly fine."

"Fine?" a boy's voice was sharp, excitedly extending his hand. "Look, the Unicorn hair is about to show..."

A family walked in noisily. Leading the way was a plump witch, followed by a tall, thin, red-haired man, and a total of six children.

So many children, and all with red hair—Robert instantly confirmed their identity.

The Weasleys; only they couldn't afford a new student's wand.

However, with so many people coming in together, the already small shop was instantly filled and very crowded.

"There seem to be a bit too many of us," the man who came with them looked around. "Fred, George, could you please go to the second-hand bookshop first and help Ron find a set of first-year textbooks."

"Gladly, Dad," identical voices came from the two identical twins.

They exchanged glances, a sly, mischievous smile on their faces, and turned and ran out.

As for whether they would honestly go to the second-hand shop, Robert estimated it was highly unlikely.

The famous Weasley twins—how could they honestly do something proper?

"Dad, I want to go somewhere else too," another person wearing horn-rimmed glasses said.

"No problem, dear, go ahead," the witch at the front turned around. "Just think about what gift you want."

"I want a gift too..." the youngest boy grumbled.

"If you can become a prefect too, Ron, I'll buy you a gift as well."

As they spoke, several people had already reached the counter.

"Good morning," Ollivander displayed a standard professional smile.

"It's a pleasure to see you again, Molly
