Chapter 239 - Tenya's Up To No Good

Living room.

Megumi and Mai took their seats respectively.

"Yukino, prepare an extra teacup." Tenya instructed.

"Why?" Yukino expressed confusion.

"Because there's also a Sakurajima-senpai here." Tenya pointed to the open seat beside him.

"???" Yukino looked utterly bewildered.

"Huh? Is Tenya-kun joking?" Haruno also found it amusing.

"Uhm. It might sound unbelievable, but Sakurajima-senpai truly exists." Megumi said earnestly.

"Yukino, do as Tenya-kun instructs." Kiyomi, deep in thought, decisively signaled to Yukino.

"Afterward, please explain everything to me properly."

Yukino secretly used her Nekomata power, her eyes turning into heterochromatic yellow and blue. In this state, she could see anomalies, yet she couldn't see Sakurajima-senpai.

"Ah?"

"Her eyes?"

Yukino's eyes, instead, startled Mai.

"Yukino, calm down. Look, you've scared Sakurajima-senpai into standing up." Tenya teased.

"..."

Yukino looked helpless.

After the cup was brought, it was filled with hot tea.

Everyone curiously fixed their gaze on the teacup.

"Uh..."

Mai carefully took a sip.

"Oh! She really exists." Haruno was greatly surprised.

"The teacup disappeared in an instant. When it reappeared, the tea was gone. It seems this invisible Sakurajima-senpai truly exists." Yukino exclaimed.

"Third-year Mai, a popular artist. Her sense of presence has been stripped."

After listening to Tenya's explanation, the three Yukinoshita girls all found it incredibly hard to believe.

"Since her sense of presence was stripped, then why can you still see Sakurajima-senpai?" Yukino asked curiously.

"Idiot."

"Who am I?"

"How could a mere world's oblivion obscure my eyes?"

Tenya's arrogant words, however, left Yukino unable to retort.

Damn it!

He's showing off again.

"Even if the world forgets me, you can still see me?"

A momentary look of distraction appeared on Mai's face.

Only by truly experiencing the despair of losing one's sense of presence could one understand the immense impact Tenya's words had on Mai.

"Sigh. Tenya-kun always inadvertently says things that win over girls." Megumi sighed.

She had completely given up. Even with strict vigilance, it would be impossible to stop him from forming a harem.

"Yukino is really an idiot, she inadvertently gave him an assist again."

Haruno was clearly a woman of high emotional intelligence, keenly aware of the significance of Tenya's words to Mai.

"Yukino is too naive when it comes to relationships."

Kiyomi had long understood that relying solely on Yukino would not be enough to hold onto Tenya. Adding Haruno wasn't enough either. So, she had to add herself.

"???"

Yukino was full of question marks. She didn't understand why her casual question had drawn such strange looks from the others present.

"So, Tenya-kun intends to take in Sakurajima-san?" Haruno turned the topic to the main point.

"Mainly, I want to keep Megumi. Sakurajima-senpai is a bonus." Tenya explained.

Alright, I'm just a bonus.

Mai was on the verge of tears.

"Uhm. Tenya-kun, you don't have to explain it so clearly."

Although Megumi's voice remained calm, her cheeks were slightly flushed.

"Megumi..."

She was indeed deeply favored by Tenya.

The three Yukinoshita girls immediately focused their gaze on Megumi.

"Yukino, give up your room." Tenya instructed.

"Okay."

Yukino didn't ask a foolish question like, "Why should I give up my room?"

After all, she and her family were staying at Tenya's house. Since they were living under someone else's roof, they couldn't treat his home as their own.

"As expected of the always correct Yukino. I like pure women like you." Tenya expressed his praise without reservation.

These days, girls who don't cause trouble are rare.

"Hmph. I don't care if you like me or not."

Her classic tsundere attitude was also one of Yukino's charming points.

"Megumi, Sakurajima-senpai. You two will sleep in this room tonight." Tenya turned and instructed.

"Okay, thank you, Tenya-kun, and Yukinoshita-san." Megumi thanked very politely.

Mai also spoke, but no one heard her.

"No need to thank me. The ownership of this room originally belongs to Tenya." Yukino didn't take credit.

"Very good, Yukino. To reward you, you can sleep with me tonight." Tenya spoke as if he were choosing a concubine from his harem.

"You call that a reward?" Yukino's face darkened.

"You don't want to?" Tenya asked in surprise.

"Of course not! Absolutely not! Definitely not!" Yukino strongly denied three times.

"Then, Haruno? Will you come and sleep with me?" Tenya shifted his gaze without a hint of reluctance.

"Oh? Is Tenya-kun going to choose me? I don't mind, though. It's just that Yukino will be afraid of the dark if she sleeps alone." Haruno's reply was as flawless as ever.

"I'm not afraid of the dark." Yukino retorted seriously.

"Idiot, can't you tell this is just an excuse?" Haruno glared at her, annoyed.

"What about auntie Kiyomi?" Tenya shifted his target again.

"Hey!"

"Tenya!"

"You've gone too far!"

"How dare you flirt with mom?!"

The sisters immediately shot him angry glares.

"Hehe."

Kiyomi merely smiled without speaking, adopting the attitude of an elder tolerating a junior's joke.

"So impressive. Has Yoshida-kun always been this brave?" Mai looked at him with admiration.

With her ability to read people, she could tell that Kiyomi was a mature woman who was outwardly gentle but inwardly strong and very assertive. Even men her age might not dare to speak disrespectfully to her.

Tenya actually dared to flirt with her verbally, he was excessively brave.

"I'm afraid Tenya-kun won't be satisfied with just verbal flirting."

Megumi's gaze was sharp and full of suspicion, sweeping back and forth between Tenya and Kiyomi. Her intuition told her that the relationship between these two was definitely not simple.

After some discussion.

The four rooms in Tenya's house were allocated as follows: one for Tenya himself, one for Kiyomi, one for the Yukinoshita sisters, and one for Megumi and Mai. It seemed like a very reasonable distribution.

Late at night, when all was quiet, Tenya used Kamui to phase through the wall and entered Kiyomi's room.

"Tenya-kun. Why are you here?" Kiyomi opened her eyes.

"Because Kiyomi was waiting for me."

Tenya pulled back the covers, revealing a graceful figure wearing a purple, alluring sheer gown.

"Oh my. Why isn't Tenya-kun going to find the two cute little girls you brought back today?" Kiyomi lied on her side, a faint smile on her lips.

"Little girls are not as enticing as Kiyomi?" Tenya embraced her with a large hand, using undying grip.

"…Be gentler."

Kiyomi covered her mouth, afraid she wouldn't be able to stop herself from making strange sounds.

...

"Sakurajima-senpai, are you there? I have a strong premonition that Tenya-kun will do something bad tonight. Could I trouble you to sneak a peek into Yukinoshita's room?" Megumi looked at the ceiling expressionlessly.

"Ah, this…"

Mai's expression was strange, was she being asked to catch someone in the act?

"Alright, then I'll take a look?" Mai was partly grateful to Megumi, and partly curious herself.

She first went to Yukino and Haruno's room, quietly opened a crack in the door, and peeked inside with curious eyes.

"Yukino, hehehe."

Haruno used her hands and feet, like an octopus, tightly hugging Yukino . The latter struggled symbolically a few times, then fell into a deep sleep.

Mai thought to herself, 'They have such a good relationship.'

Just as she was carefully closing the door, preparing to leave, suddenly, from another room, she heard some strange moans.
