Month 2, Day 7

After catching Dewpider, I walked towards the place where the island trail is conducted. As I reached the place where it was conducted, a girl was already standing there.
She has short blue hair styled in a bob cut, complemented by long, side-swept bangs. Her blue eyes are highlighted by a sleeveless white top featuring blue ocean-wave motifs, paired with loose-fitting blue Capri pants that have a similar wave pattern.
As soon as I approached her, she saw me and started speaking,
"Hello, challenger, I'm Lana, the captain of the Brooklet Hill, Totem den" She spoke in a shy tone.
"Are you new to this?" I asked her because of her shyness.
"How did you know?" She asked with a surprised expression.
"Just guessed it", I said while a wry smile started forming on my face automatically.
"So did you come to challenge?" She asked me.
"Well, why else would I come here?" I asked her with a smile.
"Sorry, " she replied with an embarrassed smile.
"The Pokémon for this challenge is Wishiwashi, who is right ahead, so you will battle with him," she told me.
After speaking with her, I walked forward. As soon as I reached a distance away from her, a Wishiwashi (School Form) appeared in front of me. As soon as it arrived, Rain began to pour, summoned by its Drizzle ability. The entire area turned into a storm-soaked battlefield, so without any delay. I took out Thorn from his pokeball.
"Start with Agility, then close in!"
Thorn blurred forward, darting left and right unpredictably as his body shimmered from the boost in speed. Rain lashed across his carapace as he zipped toward the looming totem.
Wishiwashi reacted—its body pulsed as it launched Scald, a boiling stream of water. Thorn spun mid-air, narrowly dodging. A few droplets hissed as they struck his wings, but he pushed forward.
"Now, Twinneedle! Aim between the glowing plates!"
Thorn's arms extended. His stingers gleamed with energy, then lashed out—two quick jabs, infused with Bug-type aura. The strikes connected, causing Wishiwashi to flinch slightly as its body shook.
But the Totem Pokémon retaliated hard. Its scales lit up with a powerful Brine, amplified by the rain. The wave slammed into Thorn, knocking him back through the mist.
"Thorn!" I yelled.
"He's not going down. So Thorn use electric flow" I said to Thorn.
Electric sparks flowed through his body. His speed spiked, leaving afterimages in the rain. He vanished from sight for a moment.
BAM!
He reappeared behind Wishiwashi, striking with Twineedle move landing hard now that Thorn had taken damage earlier. The hit was brutal.
Wishiwashi let out a shuddering roar, its body flickering. The massive school form began to dissolve, collapsing back into a single, trembling small fish.
The Totem was Defeated.
