Chapter 186 - [187]: Maid Cafe (2)

Tsuna took the pink feather pen and looked at the exquisite and slightly fancy 'Master Contract Paper'.

He paused and looked up at Nishikata, who was still staring at the 'Master Contract Paper' across from him.

Then he wrote the word 'Guest' in the signature area of the paper and handed the pen to Nishikata.

He said that he just came to experience the maid cafe and didn't have any special fetishes.

For example, he didn't want the maids to call him 'Onii-chan', 'Odo-san', etc.

Although he didn't know if he'd end up calling them that if he wrote it on there, it was better not to do anything stupid.

"Miyamura, let me see what you wrote." Nishikata took the pen and leaned over.

Tsuna quickly covered the signature area, suppressing the upward curve of his lips, and shook his head.

"Later, the maids will ask us to sign with pseudonyms. You'll know then."

"Alright."

Nishikata saw and gave up. He quickly wrote a few words on the paper and handed the pen and paper to the gray-haired, cat-eared maid who was waiting quietly nearby.

The maid took the paper from Nishikata and Tsuna with a professional smile, glanced at the signature line, and said sweetly,

"Please wait a moment. I'll get the menu now."

"Yes, yes."

"Excuse me," Tsuna nodded politely.

The maid smiled at Tsuna and left.

Tsuna watched her leave, then, when he looked back, he found Nishikata staring at his face.

He touched both cheeks, his brows furrowing in confusion.

"Why are you staring at me? Is there something on my face?"

"Nothing," Nishikata quickly shook his head, changing the subject. "I thought you'd be called right after signing, but I didn't expect you'd have to wait."

"There's no rush. Wait a little longer." Tsuna turned to survey the interior and the maids.

There were seven maids, including the one soliciting customers outside. Their hair colors varied, from lolita to mature women.

The only thing they had in common was cat ears, though sadly, no cat tails...

"Guests and Masters, sorry to have kept you waiting."

The gray-haired maid from before approached the table, holding a pink book. She addressed them sweetly and placed the book in the middle of the table.

"This is our menu."

Tsuna's expression remained unchanged upon hearing this address, and he didn't say anything else.

"Okay, you're in a maid cafe, so it's normal for the girls to call you Master."

Nishikata paid little attention to the maid's address, his attention drawn to the pink menu.

He was slightly surprised to see the menu, which was about the same thickness as a school textbook.

"It's so thick!"

The maid reached out and flipped open the first page, seemingly accustomed to this. She smiled and explained,

"The first four pages are the menu, and the rest are group photos.

Of course, when guests and hosts leave, they can also ask the maids to take a commemorative photo."

Nishikata nodded.

"Nishikata, take a look first." Tsuna shoved the menu in front of him.

The gray-haired maid withdrew her hand upon seeing this, standing quietly at the table while they made their choices.

"Okay." Nishikata took the menu and began to examine it carefully.

Tsuna watched him turn the pages, his eyes widening.

It was no wonder Nishikata didn't understand what he meant; he was simply surprised by the prices of the items on the menu, and the more he looked, the more astonished he became.

"Does the store have any recommendations?" Tsuna withdrew his gaze from Nishikata's face and turned to look at the maid who was waiting quietly.

"Hmm..." The maid thought for a moment, then asked, "Is the guest here for afternoon tea?"

"Yes."

"Then I recommend the set meal of a 'magic potion' and a 'sweet black heart cake.'"

… Tsuna was speechless.

It was the same as not recommending it at all. Can't they just talk like human beings?

And the name is almost the same as ( ╹▽╹ )'delicious to the point of mee-pu tea.'

The maid seemed to notice Tsuna's confusion and explained with a smile, "It's a drink and a piece of chocolate cake."

"Okay, I'll take this set meal."

"Okay." The maid nodded, pulled out a small notebook and pen from the pocket hidden in her skirt, and began to write and draw.

"Have you made up your mind, Nishikata?" Tsuna looked back at Nishikata, who was still looking at the menu, and asked.

Nishikata closed the menu and shook his head with a dull look in his eyes.

It's too expensive, too expensive!

Even the set meal Miyamura just ordered was 1,500 yen—it was a real drain on his wallet!

Even though Miyamura said it was his treat, it didn't stop him from feeling sorry for his wallet.

"Then you and I will do the same. It's settled." Tsuna took the menu and handed it to the gray-haired maid beside him.

"Yes."

"Okay." Seeing Nishikata nod in agreement, the maid continued writing in the small notebook. Then she paused, looked up at the two men, and asked:

"Guest, Master, what color would you like your magic potion?"

"..."

"Whatever." Tsuna waved his hand silently.

"Me too."

"Okay, wait a moment." The maid smiled sweetly at the two men and left with the pink menu.

"Miyamura, I forgot to ask."

"What?"

Nishikata hesitated, forming his words in his mind, and asked cautiously,

"Won't Shouko be mad at you for coming to a place like this?"

"She's out with Takagi and the others today, so she doesn't know about you and me." Tsuna shook his head.

"Besides, we were just tired from wandering around Akihabara, so we just found a random shop to rest and eat. We didn't do anything special.

And I told them to call us guests, so why would she be mad?"

"That's right." Nishikata Naoto nodded thoughtfully.

He felt that what Miyamura said made perfect sense...

"Guests, Masters, sorry to have kept you waiting."

As the two chatted, a blue-haired maid approached their table carrying a round tray.

In a few seconds, she placed the food on the tray in front of them.

"Enjoy your meal," she gave them a professional smile, then took the tray and left.

Tsuna looked at the chocolate cake on a white glass plate and the blue drink in a clear plastic cup.

It was obvious that the drink was blueberry flavored, while Nishikata's was strawberry.

"I'm starting to eat." Nishikata glanced at Tsuna's drink and then looked away, clasping his hands together and whispering.

Tsuna, who had never done this since childhood, picked up a spoon beside him and scooped a spoonful of cake and started eating.

"Welcome home, Master!"

Tsuna had just put the first spoonful of cake into his mouth when the maids in the shop called out one after another.
