Chapter 26 - Cellar

Lin Feng's eyes adjusted slowly to the darkness, and he looked around the cellar. It was a small, damp room with stone walls and a low ceiling. There was no window, and the only light came from a small torch flickering in the corner.

Lin Feng's mind was racing as he tried to remember how he got there. He remembered the figure, the energy building up, and then... nothing.

He stood up, his eyes scanning the room for any sign of escape. But there was none. The door was made of solid wood, and it looked like it hadn't been opened in years.

Lin Feng's face twisted in anger and frustration. He had been captured by the Crimson, and now he was at their mercy.

But Lin Feng was not one to give up easily. He began to search the room for any weakness, any possible way to escape. He examined the walls, the floor, and the ceiling, looking for any crack or crevice that he could use to his advantage.

As he searched, he heard footsteps outside the door. The sound of keys jingling, and then the door creaked open.

A figure stood in the doorway, a tall, imposing man with a cruel smile on his face. "Welcome, Lin Feng," he said. "I see you're awake."

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed. "Who are you?" he asked, his voice cold.

The man chuckled. "I'm just a servant of the Crimson," he said. "And you, Lin Feng, are our guest."

Lin Feng's face twisted in anger. "I'm not a guest," he said. "I'm a prisoner. And I'll escape, no matter what it takes."

The man laughed. "We'll see about that," he said. "You see, Lin Feng, you have something that we want. And we'll do whatever it takes to get it."

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed. "What do you want?" he asked.

The man smiled. "We'll tell you soon enough," he said. "But for now, let's just say that you're going to be with us for a while."

Lin Feng's face twisted in determination. He would not give up. He would find a way to escape, no matter what.

The man turned to leave, but Lin Feng called out to him. "Wait," he said.

The man turned back, a questioning look on his face. "Yes?" he asked.

Lin Feng's eyes locked onto his. "I'll never give you what you want," he said. "No matter what you do to me."

The man's smile grew wider. "We'll see about that," he said. "You'd be surprised what people will do when they're faced with pain and suffering."

Lin Feng's face twisted in anger, but he said nothing. He knew that he had to stay strong, no matter what lay ahead.

The man left, locking the door behind him. Lin Feng was left alone in the darkness, his mind racing with thoughts of escape and revenge.

But as he stood there, he heard a faint noise coming from the wall. It was a small scratching sound, like someone was trying to dig their way through.

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed. Could it be? Was someone trying to rescue him?

He listened carefully, his heart pounding with excitement. The scratching sound grew louder, and Lin Feng knew that he had to act fast.

He moved to the wall, his eyes locked onto the spot where the sound was coming from. And then, he saw it. A small hole, just big enough for a finger to fit through.

Lin Feng's face twisted in determination. He would escape, no matter what. And he would make sure that the Crimson paid for what they had done to him.

With newfound hope, Lin Feng began to dig, his fingers scraping against the stone as he worked to free himself from the darkness.
