When Daniel saw the name "Abyss," he paused for a moment. He was quite familiar with the concept of an abyss. However, he wasn't sure what made this "Desire Abyss" so different.
Without thinking, Daniel instinctively looked downward, but found nothing of particular note. Nevertheless, he was well aware of one thing: in a hundred years, this current largest ruin in the world would disappear completely.

After seeing this description, Daniel was momentarily taken aback. Normally, entering a ruin was similar to entering an underground labyrinth—only after completing certain objectives could one obtain the rewards.
What made ruins different, however, was the inherent danger they posed. It was just like real life, where death was permanent, and resurrection was not an option.
For most awakeners, ruins were a significant threat.
