When this layer of Human Race Protection was revealed, many Awakeners had confused expressions on their faces.
This was because, from what humanity had researched so far, they hadn't yet delved into the concept of luck value. The shallow research suggested that the higher one's luck value, the more fortunate they would be, but no one had been able to quantify how significant the difference actually was.
What everyone understood, however, was that under normal circumstances, a person's luck value would typically range between 1 and 2 points. Now, with the increase from 1-2 points to 8 points, it was clear that the boost was monumental!
Moreover, until now, no one had figured out how to increase one's luck value. It seemed to be something innate, as if it was just a natural trait.
Even those who had reached Demigod Rank, such as the demigod class, still couldn't alter their luck value.
