After listening to Milla's explanation, Daniel couldn't help but feel a headache coming on.
He finally understood why Enzo disliked Milla so much. Someone who thrived on causing chaos was a nightmare for any guardian of rules.
"So, the monument recording the rules of the Mental Plane... it was you who stole it?"
Milla responded, her tone almost innocent, "Indeed, that's true. The situation at the time was a bit complicated, so I had no choice..."
She finished with a pitiful, almost harmless expression.
Daniel, as always, didn't just listen to her words—he was also sensing her thoughts.
It was clear that Milla had a talent for stirring up trouble. At this point, Daniel even found himself wondering whether she might be scheming against him.
But up to now, Milla hadn't shown any intent to harm him. The bigger question, though, was what exactly she had done in the Mental Plane to provoke such anger from the Guardians?
