Chapter 102 - Villaines Amber

Amber didn't flinch at the slap.

Didn't cry.

Didn't defend herself.

She simply looked at Mrs. Devis with that dead, broken smile.

Her voice was soft—too soft.

Amber:

"If someone thinks

another person should die…

it means they don't want them alive.

Isn't that right, Mrs. Devis?"

Mrs. Devis froze.

Amber continued—not loud, but painfully calm.

Amber:

"And not wanting someone in your life…

is the same thing."

The entire hall went still.

Amber's smile didn't reach her eyes.

Amber:

"If that logic counts…

then I should've been dead long ago."

Everyone stiffened.

Her voice cracked slightly—but she kept speaking.

Amber:

"First… Mr. William wanted it."

"Second… you wanted it."

"Third… Rachel wanted it."

"Fourth… Nathalie wanted it."

"Fifth… your entire family wanted it."

She turned her gaze slowly toward Jonathan.

He went rigid.

Amber:

"Sixth… Jonathan…

you wanted it."

Jonathan's breath stopped.

He shook his head instantly, guilt swallowing him whole—

but Amber wasn't done.

Her eyes finally drifted toward Justin's door.

Where he stood half-shadowed… listening.

Their eyes met.

Amber gave the faintest, saddest smile.

Amber:

"Seventh…

my son Justin…

wanted it."

Justin's entire world cracked.

His heart twisted painfully.

He looked away, trembling.

Amber exhaled.

Her body swayed.

Amber:

"So maybe…

it's bet—"

Her words cut off.

Her eyes rolled back.

Her knees buckled.

And she collapsed.

Jonathan:

"AMBER!"

He lunged forward instantly, catching her before her head hit the ground.

Her blood soaked through his shirt within seconds.

Jonathan stared at her limp face—

pale lips, fading color, silent breaths.

His voice broke.

Jonathan:

"Amber… Amber, stay with me—DON'T YOU DARE CLOSE YOUR EYES!"

No answer.

Just silence.

Jonathan lifted her in his arms—

holding her like she was the most precious thing in the world.

Mrs. Devis covered her mouth, horrified.

Eric fell to his knees in shock.

Justin took one step forward—

but the marks on his body pulsed violently, stopping him in agony.

He could only watch.

He could only break.

Jonathan didn't wait.

He turned sharply toward the door.

Jonathan:

"CALL THE DOCTOR!

GET THE CAR—NOW!"

Everyone panicked, running.

Jonathan rushed out, clutching her tightly—

as if letting go meant losing her forever.

All the kids stared in terror.

No one spoke.

Because they finally understood:

A villainess isn't born.

She's made—

by pain,

betrayal,

and a world that wanted her dead.

If Amber became this dangerous…

her past must have broken her first.
