Kai's POV
"Why don't you just give it to them yourself?" The landlord looked annoyed when I knocked on his door early in the morning to give back the phone once they came back.
"I have plans for today," I said, lying. "And I need to go now."
"Kai!"
I didn't stop even after he called my name. Never look back just like what I did before.
I was almost at the entrance of the building when I saw a familiar man step out of a car.
My heartbeat instantly raced as my mind became chaotic. Tall, handsome, and a strong aura that pulls everyone to him. He was like a walking sculpture, made to perfection. His soft hair dances as he moves. And the way he carries himself is the same.
The intensity of his aura, the domineering expression. Everything about him was the same as I remember and seeing him made my chest tight.
I flinched and sucked my breath when he suddenly looked my way. I was quick to hide as my hands trembled.
My throat went dry, and my body stiffened.
