Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Awakening of Jiang Yun

The countryside around Nuoding City was peaceful, with only rustling leaves and distant birdsong to break the silence. But within the old stone orphanage on its outskirts, a boy sat in stillness, eyes closed beneath a pine tree.

His name was Jiang Yun.

He was six years old.

But in truth, Jiang Yun was far older.

In his previous life, he had lived in a modern world where cultivation existed only in fiction. He had been a fan of anime, fantasy, and above all—Kamen Rider Kuuga. Before his death he was trying the new kuuga armour that he had purchased. But say it a coincidence or his way of transmigration that the kuuga driver (arcle belt) short circuited and he died.

After a long time he opened his eyes and found that he is in a new place and he had some new memories in his head.

"So I died... Huh.... can't even get the experience of the new armour suit.

But I had now gained far more than just a cosplay suit.

He has arrived in the world of Douluo Dalu.

Others might have panicked or despaired, but Jiang Yun didn't. He was calm, thoughtful. Most importantly—he wasn't alone.

So from that day he has began gathering some information and knows that it is the timeline of Douluo Dalu 1 because there was still a Spirit Hall and Three Upper Sect, but the Haotian Sect that is known as number one clan of the Douluo continent has closed it's sect's gate.

"Let's wait until the martial spirit awakening... "

On the day of his spirit awakening, the children lined up nervously. The Spirit Hall priest was old, methodical, and unimpressed with what he saw so far.

Out of 15 children none of them had innate soul power so they cannot become spirit master.

When Jiang Yun stepped forward, his eyes showed no fear.

He already knew what was coming.

The priest placed his hand on the boy's back.

In the next instant, red light erupted from Jiang Yun's body. A swirling pulse of ancient, mechanical energy formed around his waist—a belt, metallic and intricate, with a glowing crimson gem at its center.

The priest stumbled back, eyes wide. "What is this?! No beast, no weapon—this isn't a spirit!"

"No... this is his body," the elder in charge of the orphanage murmured. "His martial spirit is… himself."

"A body spirit? But I sense no beast aura. No ring compatibility. It's useless—unstable!"

But Jiang Yun said nothing. They were wrong.

This wasn't a failure. It was evolution.

The Kuuga Arcle, bound to his soul, was a divine artifact from another world. It didn't require spirit beasts. It would provide him with spirit rings of its own choosing—abilities aligned with his nature and growth.

As he matured, so would the Arcle's power—unlocking forms, enhancing his physical body beyond the norm. His martial spirit was his body, and the Arcle was its guide.

The soul master of spirit hall then asked Jiang Yun to check his innate soul power.

When Jiang Yun touched the orb it does not show any response.

So he was classified as a waste.

That night, under the starlit sky, Jiang Yun stood quietly in the courtyard. The belt pulsed softly.

> "Synchronization: Stable. Form access: Locked. Combat system: Primed."

"I don't need recognition. I don't need to join Spirit Hall or Shrek or anyone," he whispered. "I'll grow on my own. Build my own path. But I won't kill recklessly. Power isn't for slaughter."

He looked down at his small hands.

"I'm not here to dominate. I'm here to protect."

Kuuga was never about destruction. He was hope.

And Jiang Yun would carry that hope into this new world.
