The drawback of this ninjutsu was that the user needed to physically touch the opponent, and the technique couldn't be interrupted while it was being performed. So even if an average ninja learned it, it was extremely difficult to use effectively in actual combat. Moreover, if the opponent possessed an overwhelming amount of chakra, they could break the seal in an instant. The advantage, however, was that the user was Shin.
With the aid of the Flying Thunder God Technique and Kyōka Suigetsu, getting close enough to touch these guys was as easy as a glance. And breaking the seal of the Heaven's Confinement, personally used by him, would require chakra at a Kage-level at minimum.
The seven people in front of him were indeed quite capable, but against him? He could seal every one of them with ease.
Not long after, as his figure flickered across the battlefield, five more ninjas collapsed to the ground. Even after being struck, none of them realized what had happened. Because his right eye ability was simply too bizarre.
Who had ever seen a kunai suddenly curve mid-air and fly toward their own comrade?
Who had ever seen their own body suddenly and inexplicably appear in front of the enemy?
Who had ever experienced a jutsu backfire mid-using as if it hit a deadlock?
Who had ever used Body Flicker Technique only to suddenly lose footing and fall flat on their face?
This defied all logic!
At this point, only one Aburame ninja remained, staring in horror at the scene before him.
"Are you still hoping I'll seal you first so you can try using bugs on me?" Shin said with a smirk, watching him nervously gulp.
"But did you know? The Flying Thunder God Technique pairs perfectly with any ninjutsu. For example…"
In the next moment, he appeared a meter in front of the Aburame ninja in an instant. As the ninja's mind reeled in shock, Shin's Mangekyō Sharingan flashed with a ghostly glint.
The Aburame ninja instantly went into a dazed stupor, then collapsed to the ground as if all his strength had been drained.
"…Genjutsu," Shin calmly finished his sentence.
For ninjas with strong mental fortitude, genjutsu could be less effective. But if you suddenly teleported next to them using Flying Thunder God, scared them into a mental imbalance, then immediately unleashed a burst of chakra to destabilize theirs, the effectiveness of genjutsu increased dramatically, even exponentially.
For opponents who couldn't be physically touched, this technique worked wonders. It never failed.
After putting sealing marks on the unconscious Aburame ninja using gloves, he dragged all seven bodies together, formed hand seals, and slammed his palms onto the ground.
Mysterious patterns resembling an orderly trigram appeared, and with a pulse of spatial energy, the seven bodies vanished from the spot.
This was the Flying Thunder God: Guiding Thunder, capable of transporting living beings and objects through space to a designated location.

In the Konoha Research Institute, Orochimaru, who was in the middle of an experiment, suddenly sensed something. He licked the corner of his lips with his tongue.
No need to guess, Shin had delivered him another warm gift… no, another batch of "materials."
But in the next moment, he became a bit unhappy.
Shin would rather use the Guiding Thunder to deliver the materials than come over in person?
It had only been a day since they parted, and the affection was already fading?
In that case, he would take this opportunity, while Shin was away, to produce research results so astonishing that even Shin would be shocked, so Shin'd know just how grave the consequences of leaving him were. And when that time came, he shouldn't come crawling back asking about the principles behind the experiments.
With that thought, he walked toward the underground lab in a brisk, cheerful pace. After briefly inspecting the seven new specimens, he was quite satisfied. But just as he was wondering how best to utilize them, a scroll caught his attention.
Picking it up and scanning its contents, Orochimaru immediately became annoyed.
It was a letter from Shin.
In it, he clearly stated that he had plans for these seven people, asking Orochimaru to remove the Cursed Tongue Eradication Seal from their tongues, and then experiment on them using a newly developed brainwashing technique. If successful, the seven would become their subordinates. If it failed, only then could they be used as test subjects.
"He really does love bossing people around, how excessive!"
But what could he do? Shin was his man, after all. Of course, he'd forgive him!
---
After dealing with the seven ninjas who had attacked him, Shin picked up a small glass vial from the ground. Looking at the silver powder inside, he couldn't help but sigh.
This poison was something he and Orochimaru had developed together.
Back in the Land of Whirlpools, he had secretly added this poison to the food consumed by Genji and Yumi. As a result, the two of them were unable to manipulate their chakra, which allowed Tsunade, leading the Uzushio ninjas, to completely annihilate them in a short time.
But this poison had been extracted by Shin from the body of Tobirama.
From the beginning, he had found it strange... how could powerful figures like Tobirama and the Second Raikage have died so inexplicably in an ambush by the likes of Kinkaku and Ginkaku?
It sounded like a joke.
If this were a manga, and the author killed them off for plot purposes, then fine. But this was the real world!
How could a group of nobodies succeed in taking them down?
Even if it was a sneak attack, Tobirama had entered enemy territory for negotiations, he would certainly have had his sensory abilities fully activated.
As someone who inherited Tobirama's talent, he knew just how unlikely it was for someone like him to be ambushed. With sensory jutsu active, it was practically impossible. Because the movements of enemies couldn't escape his perception.
Just like the four people who had been lying in ambush earlier, they might have thought they were well hidden, but he had sensed them from far away.
It wasn't as if those who ambushed Tobirama were capable of perfectly erasing their chakra signatures. And think about the lineup Tobirama and the Second Raikage had brought: Tobirama: top-tier Kage-level, on the verge of stepping into the Super-Kage-level considered the strongest man in the shinobi world at the time.
Second Raikage: top-tier Kage-level, second only to Tobirama in speed, with exceptional offense and defense.
Hiruzen, Kagami, and one of the Raikage's guards, three more Kage-level combatants.
Danzō, Torifu, Homura, and three other Raikage bodyguards, six low-Kage-level powerhouses.
The rest, including even the weakest like Koharu, were special jonin.
Yet that kind of lineup was allegedly chased down and defeated by Kinkaku, Ginkaku, and 18 jonin, resulting in the deaths of the two strongest among them.
That was like saying Kakashi led twenty special jonin to steamroll the Akatsuki at their peak, pinning down even Pain and wiping the floor with him.
Completely absurd.
In the Fourth Great Ninja War, Kinkaku and Ginkaku's performance was utterly disappointing, it was jaw-droppingly bad. Without the Six Paths ninja tools, their combat power was at best low-Kage-level. Even together, they couldn't beat Darui alone. Even after entering Nine-Tails Mode, they only barely reached Kage-level threat. And even with the Six Paths tools, those clumsy, slow-to-use artifacts, there was no way they could succeed against someone like Tobirama. Especially considering he had mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique, which allowed him to teleport an entire team with ease.
With his intelligence and experience, he absolutely would have planted Flying Thunder God marks in the surrounding area.
Yet somehow… he didn't use them!
However, this mystery was finally solved when Shin unexpectedly located Tobirama's corpse and, with Tsunade's permission, conducted an autopsy.
Only then did he understand everything.
