"Hey, do you believe in something called… reincarnation?"
Nolan tensed at those words. He took a sip of his wine and looked deeply into her eyes.
"What do you mean, Your Majesty?"
Seira didn't answer right away. She remained silent for several minutes before letting out a long sigh.
"I don't know if I should tell you this or not. After all, we're strangers," she said softly. "But while talking to you, I've had this strange feeling. It's as if we actually know each other. I just can't remember when we met."
Nolan fell silent. There was no denying that they were siblings.
But he couldn't say it out loud. If he did, it would only lead to more questions, and that would be troublesome.
Seira took another sip of her wine before speaking.
"Would you believe me if I told you I'm a… reincarnator?"
Thud!
Nolan's heart raced when he heard that. His face, hidden behind his half-mask, turned pale.
"A-A reincarnator?" he repeated in surprise. "What do you mean, Your Majesty?"
