"Nolan, where are you? You're still right here with me, aren't you?"
Elsa's panicked voice came from beside him.
At the same time, Nolan felt her hands groping along his body, sending a chill down his spine.
"Stop!" Nolan shouted, quickly pulling her hands away.
If he didn't stop her immediately, her hands would likely slip lower, which would be extremely dangerous.
Elsa felt both embarrassed and relieved. She was afraid of the dark, so she panicked when everything turned pitch black around them.
"Sorry, I'm afraid of the dark. Can you hold my hand a little longer?" she asked in a pleading voice.
Nolan wanted to refuse, but he could sense her sincerity and reluctantly agreed.
"Alright. But keep your hand where it should be. Just hold mine," he warned seriously.
"I understand. Don't worry, I won't do that," Elsa assured him earnestly.
Nolan nodded in satisfaction and looked around calmly. Although it was dark, it didn't affect him at all.
