"So, why did you call me here, Nolan?"
Sitting on the sofa and breathing slightly heavily, Evalyn asked in a cold tone.
Nolan sat beside her, smiling casually. He took a sip of the black tea in his hand and replied lightly, "I invited you here to ask you to go to the eastern continent with me."
"The eastern continent?" Evalyn froze. "Why didn't you tell me first? The eastern continent is very far away, you know. Where exactly are we going?"
"The Eastern Empire of Izanagi," Nolan explained.
"The Eastern Empire of Izanagi, huh?" Evalyn's eyes narrowed slightly. "What's going on? Why do you suddenly want to go there? This isn't like you."
She had been friends with Nolan since childhood. Knowing how lazy he was, it was hard to believe he would accept an invitation from the far-off Eastern Empire of Izanagi.
Nolan didn't answer. He glanced at Elina, who was sitting across from him.
